Both times JP has done it he has ended up with nothing (Binocular/Franchoek and Fakir/Sir Erec). However, it is significant that JP made an entry for him as they are usually quite sparing with entries (e.g Fact to File!). You would think that this would mean that it is definitely being considered. His lack of experience must make sticking to the Triumph the preferred option - as Jim pointed out, Fakir had run 7 times (4 hurdles, 2 chases, 1 bumper) before contesting the Supreme and Binocular had run 7 times on the flat despite only two hurdle runs prior to him lining up. The last 4yo winner (Hors La Loi) had run 8 times (4 hurdles, 4 flat) before winning it. If he were to have another run then I guess the Supreme may be relatively more likely but I still think they would go Triumph.
