Who's Attending Where?

The season in will soon be upon us, and I'm looking forward to September whizzing by and then heading for Chepstow's two day opener, followed by the two day October meeting at Cheltenham.

Down Royal 3rd and 4th Nov, Sat & Sun of November Meeting at Cheltenham, then Fairyhouse for the Royal Bond day is my next few. Love this time of year.

Planning a schedule of sorts , At the moment , Plumpton , Ascot , Newbury - coral gold cup , and Cheltenham Oct meeting ..
D.R.F again in Feb.

I think I'm going to miss the Friday this year of Down Royal, shame as has been a day Gordy unleashes some potential Chelt ammunition, and has been tradition for many years to attend, but due to moving house, on top of that my eldest has started primary school and I'm on pick ups! it's gunna be tricky! I hope to make the Saturday, due to football commitments I usually can't go, last year was my first as convinced my football team to take a free week, really glad i went loved watching Envoi Allen win. So have requested the club take it again and make a Jolly boys outing out of it. If Gerri Colmbe is declared I will definitely be there!

Local "pub team" OTL. Full of mates just enjoy kick about on a Saturday. For other members on here probably Sunday league football standard but do have players who are half decent who could easily play higher or have done and just seeing out last few years. Comber Young Men. Whereabouts you from? You heard of us? Ha

Aye I play for Rathcoole, promoted into Ballymena Premier Intermediate this year and finding it tough enough, haven't kicked a ball this season due to injury but should be back in a week or two. Small World :eagerness:

I know me and Spectre are in Chepstow for their 1st NH Meeting of the season on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th Nov. Anyone else making the trip?

Looking at going to Kempton on Boxing Day, would others that have been before recommend it or is it too busy and one of those better watched on tv?

I used to go every year, have to say it was quite a while ago, and like BC I think it's busy but manageable.

The one thing I would say is that if you're driving then it's worth finding somewhere to park on the roads outside the course - if you park in the middle of the course be prepared for quite a queue to get out again! :encouragement:

Cheers for the above chaps, appreciated :encouragement:

Wetherby for me tomorrow, only my 2nd ever visit which is a bit odd given it's just down the road. Given up praying for a bit of rain, been weirdly dry all week.

I don't know if they still do it , but there was a Park and Ride system when i went .. Parked in a big car Park nearby and then a coach took us up to the Racecourse .
And dropped us back after the last Race ..

Anyone for Down Royal? atm im only attending the Saturday this year. But if Brighterdaysahead declares for Friday I might have to rearrange a few things and make my way to it, as want to see her over a fence.
