Going to Newbury on Friday and Saturday for the Coral gold cup Meeting.:joyous:.
 
Hereford tomorrow for me. The "local". Surprised to see an Elliott declaration.
 
Looking forward to a trip to Carlisle on Sunday. Funnily enough Carlisle is easier to get to by public transport than any of the Scottish courses bar Musselburgh. The forecast looks a bit nippy. Is there anyone who lives locally with a view on how likely it is that the meeting could get called off?

I'm around 10 miles away and it's bloody cold here at the moment. It hit -4 through night and was back below freezing around 4pm today.

I'd say it will be doubtful.

Carlisle are playing Barrow at football on Saturday and if that game gets called off, I'd imagine racing will be in serious doubt.

We booked the train ages ago but haven't got tickets for the meeting yet. Will wait until the last minute with fingers crossed.

in Feb. If you like the Guinness, Bowes pub is fairly central and get a nice crowd in.
 
Anyone off to Trials Day this Saturday and up for a FJ pint before the racing? Would be good to meet a few stalwarts.

Currently sat in the Plough at Prestbury next to some chaps from Fergal’s yard. Apparently Autonomous Cloud at Uttoxeter is a good thing!
