All things can of course change, but plan with Top Ville Ben is to go up to Kelso just before the fest to run in the same race Le Prezien won last year for us. But nothing is ever set in stone!!!!

no charli parcs again today? ground not quite right for him again..............kempton in the Adonis in 2 weeks time. lets see if he makes that one.

At the time his victory over Joey Sassa looked alright but Let's Dance beat him out of site at Leopardstown last weekend.
 
YES! Lough Derg Spirit. Big step up required but all may not be lost in the Supreme...at least getting a run. The slick jumping was back
 
Anyone think all this drags Airlie Beach back in the Supreme picture?

Camille De Cotte was poor so she is unlikely for the Mares Novice now. Airlie Beach or Augusta Kate in that?

I wouldn't have thoguht so.

CDC was poor against the boys so I'#d say she is even more likely to turn up in the mares race now... but Ruby can only ride one in each race, and it looks like Melon in the supreme and Airlie Beach in the mares?

Today's result wouldn't affect either of those things to my mind?

Did anything come to light after the 'flop' last time. Such a lovely jumper and as they said in commentry (or jsut after) the white socks make it look even better

Joey Sasa hit the 4th last badly and was put up in trip that he patently didn't get. That said, i can't be anything but disappointed with CE performance. No pace in the race, and Hold-up tactics were used, which didn't suit as he pulled for his head throughout the race. They should have let him dictate matters as he did in his previous races. If he does make the supreme(in doubt)it would be much more to his liking as they go flat out. Im left with Saturnas NRNB(neptune as well) who runs in the deloitte this coming weekend. Otherwise this race WILL be a disaster for my fez book.
 
I cant have Melon either. The 4 main races of that day, 3 were run in quicker than average times, all except the Melon race which was slower than standard. He has to be the worst value of any horse entered at the festival imo.

I agree the price has gone now, but I certainly would not judge him on the time of the race, he didn't look out of 2nd gear and the pace of the race was not dictated by him, he just coasted home, which is all he could do tbh. IF Ruby picks him you'd have to think he was good, and I believe someone on here mentioned Ricci tried to buy him as his Supreme Horse, whether that was a publicity thing we don't know, but if not you can be sure he is likely a very good animal. Time will tell of course, personally I think Crack Mome is still well overpriced at 20/1.
 
Is charli parcs being aimed at this? Last i heard was NJH may just take his time with him and skip Chelt

He's running in the Adonis at Kempton in a couple of weeks. The Adonis doesn't have a good record for supreme winners.
