Stayers Hurdle 2020

For me if any horse in the Relkeel field is to throw down a marker for this, it’ll be Emitom. I’ve taken the 66s with Skybet for the double, very fair price IMO.

That's a good bet he's about 4/1 average for the Relkeel now and will be lower than12/1 if he wins on NYD
Skybet special

Just had a point on this.

Thanks Morley Street I’m a bit biased against Skybet but have had to have “ a saver “
Apart from ITCF and Emitom at the moment like everyone else v difficult to make a case for anything else against PP

We’ll have to see if anything is re routed here

Good shout there Morley.

I’ve added JANIKA at 50/1 for the same reason- if it wins this or even runs really well and just touched off whilst staying on strongly it will need to be considered for this and 50/1 seems very fair.

Not sure why but Janika just isn't a horse I can take to, get the feeling he could run in any number of races over different distances and will always find one or two too good for him...

Thistlecrack would place in this wouldn't he..?

I'm actually tempted to chance him now.

Missed the King George, but it was up in the air whether he did that or stayed over hurdles?

Would have no chance in a Gold Cup - wouldn't have much chance of reversing form wityh Paisley Park either but at least we know he is good enough on his day to beat all the others?

He's 16/1 NRNB

So I've backed him.

I know he's old, but I just know I'd end up backing him each way at about 8/1 on the day

Ditto the above for

Summerville Boy.

Also an obvious stayer to my eye.

Didn't bother to price him up, went with janika instead.
Notice nobody else did either.
Rubbish
Always been a stayer, and his ropey jumping will suit this course.

Thomas Darby is a similar horse, but they'll also be too slow to fathom it too.

Strange no one has Summerville Boy priced up for the stayers... be interesting at 20s or bigger.

What’s the best way to get it priced up to get the best price?

Betfair sportsbook have gone 25's
I'm waiting to see what the others do.
he wasn't stopping and seemed to travel a lot better over the longer trip.

O'Leary now says Apple's Jade could now be heading to Stayers Hurdle !!

Quite pleased to read that although I doubt she'll make it in to too many 'portfolio's'!

Sams Profile staying over hurdles, looking like a tilt at this, could he be a player?

Good run behind reserve tank at Punchestown end of last season, surely decent prices out there for him.

I like him and then I always remember he ultimately always came up short, so hard to get too giddy.

33/1 is the best price on offer.

Aye he never gets his head in front enough to get too excited.

33/1 probably about fair given that most of the top of the market are unlikely to line up I suppose.

Definitely behind the curve as loads will have seen this, but Ruby is pretty funny talking about the value in this market here.

"look we're talking about horses that you think might be value and this might be value and that might be value and the other one might, but Paisley Park is 6/4 at the moment; like with the form of the stayers hurdlers here, with the Long Walk, with the race yesterday in Leopardstown (Apples Jade), He's going to be 1/3 on the day and he's 6/4 at the moment - I know it's 6/4, but 6/4 with a good tying is an awful lot better than 20/1 about one that might not even run in the race

:love-struck:

That's Ruby still being sour about Mullins losing Apples Jade and pretty naïve to talk PP as a 1/3 shot
