I was annoyed to be honest at the price. Someone, (poss cod) added it straight away to 365 at 16s. Could have been very different if added 1st elsewhere. But. who knows.

Anyway iv a lump at 18s so can't be dissapointed.

Not me, I was a bit behind with this one, despite backing him as soon as the entry was out, but the price was already out, I only asked WH for an 'any race' price as hadn't seen the JLT plans at this point (though would have always made sense) which unfortunately was only 14's and like you I was somewhat underwhelmed, clearly some homework done on him prior to pricing this one up.

As soon as someone (think it was you), mentioned it was entered, I went to back him. The price at that point for the JLT was already up.
 
You'll be even more annyoyed if you can't get on Bet365 account.
I asked for a price for king george earlier with B365.

Am I missing something.

I know it's way off and a lot to go on before then but potentially Altior vs Master Dino in the King George, that would be some race, IF it ever happened. Master Dino obviously has a whole heap more to prove than Altior does at this stage but I love the thought of the potential of it.

To be fair Scooby there are plenty of people out there who get stuck into Cheltenham antepost not on this forum, and there was plenty on Twitter about Dino coming over so literally could be anyone. Just one question though, as 365 tend to be quite generous with their prices aren't they a good place to go first for a price? Do we think they'd have gone 66 for the KG if he'd been put in shorter elsewhere?

Worst imo for a first price. Always hills 1st. Then lads any race market. Imo.
I try and test the water in the any race markets. Worked in the likes of the fox hunters.

WH wouldn’t give me a price yesterday on Master Dino when I went in to their shop.. (wasn’t in the JLT market)

Told them I could no doubt at the neighbouring Corals...So that’s what I did.

Would the French racing/prize money be too much of a lure compared to the King George, after he's used up his novice status over here?

I'm on already as I don't care about the answer... but still...

I'd have thought the prize money over there is better full stop.
But once a frenchman's been to england a few times they don't want to go back, like err...raymond blanc ?
and there's brexit so we can keep him if he's good enough on some trumped up border issue.
 
And, judging by the Red Chino's Maccaire was wearing today, I'm sure he's over here every christmas anyway playing santa on Oxford Street.

I would also be concerned about the need for softer ground - he hits the ground pretty hard which is not ideal at Cheltenham

I have no interest in the race as yet so good luck to you all.
