Handicap Shortlist - Cheltenham 2020

Pic D’Orhy now entered for the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury on 8th Feb.

Will be interesting to hear from PN why they prefer this option. From my point of view as a Coral Cup backer Im pleased... as think he could have won this weekend quite easily. The Betfair will be a tougher assignment so more likely to keep a good mark for the Festival.

Can I ask a favour to anyone who could get Braid Blue entered to the Martin Pipe market?

Thanks

Bit mean :(

Sorry Kev, I read it and thought it came across harsher than the joke it was meant as but I hoped the wit would shine through.

Unless.....this is a wind up? WUMception

Does Sire Du Berlais qualify for Pertemps as a previous winner?

He dosent.

However its 1/50 that he will be qualified by time the race comes round. They know what theyre doing, his mark is down already. And they know there is no irish top up. As they've tested it over here.

He'll without doubt be my 2nd (and hopefully last) bet in this, when the appropriate time comes.

Will Sire De Berlais be the first winner of the Pertemps to return to the race? From memory all the past winners have used it as a stepping stone to higher profile races? I can’t think of a previous winner except Buena Vista returning and being competitive?

I don’t think I’ll be backing him for the Pertemps again, he was lucky Barry worked his magic and got a route through last season, can’t see him repeating the feat

Sire Du Berlais & It's All Guesswork both declared in the Pertemps Qualifier at Warwick tomorrow. I am very interested in the later of the 2 seems only 365 have him priced up at 20s

...It’s all Guesswork 16-1 (Without boost) in the Hills ‘any race’ market.

Buena Vista of David Pipe. Complete stitch up and I’m surprised they allowed him to get away with it.
