I'll have to watch it again but at the time I didn't think Santini jumped poorly, he just got to the final two fences on a wrong stride, if anything I was impressed how he picked up having conceded ground at both obstacles
 
Thought he jumped well in the main as well.

That second last he almost came to a stand still and should have been beaten imo.
 
I think the distance back to Top Ville Ben was telling as that one was in a battle all the to the line, 30+ lengths ahead of a horse who got to within 6l of Lostintranslation and half a length of TopoftheGame at Aintree has to read well...

Sizing John out for the rest of the season with a new injury.

Sadly Sizing John will not be running in the Irish Gold Cup @LeopardstownRC he was not 100% this morning following his last fast work at the curragh yesterday this is a new injury and it will rule him out for the rest of the season very frustrating for all our team
 
Such a shame about Sizing John, he and Coneygree fragile as glass and never able to confirm the obvious class they both had...

Whilst I agree in the main about opinions as facts ‘Envoi runs in the Ballymore 100%’ for example, I’m not sure Super Ravens post is the same here. Nobody can possibly think it’s being stated as a fact when it’s a predictions. As if he’s ITK as to LIT winning exactly by 1.5 lengths.
 
Yeah, I see it as a bullish prediction. I’m sure it’s meant like that too not a “fact”.

If it is a fact, i’m keen to hear Raven’s other facts!

There's been plenty of intelligent and respected members guilty of playing the race target 100% game.

LIT was near enough the real deal before the king george..which will probably be won by clan des obeaux again for the next 2 years! Can see it being like bristol de mai at haydock, but now maybe bristol de mai had a better season last year then he did this year so LIT form at haydock and then the other day Santini, maybe those bits of form are being judged against bristol de mai from LAST season and they actually dont stack up all too well..id be backing the proven man Alboumphpto for this based on the prep again, if
It aint broke dont fix it..kemboy is class but maybe hes too keen for a
Gold cup at cheltenham. That leaves delta work who looks alrite this season but i wouldnt say hed find enough against my pick
