Thought Percy was gonna go on there. Good win for Delta work and gives santini a boost
 
Delta work has truly put that seasonal debut behind and has put him right up there with the best staying chasers. How on earth has kemboy got so close with jumping so poorly? Has he always jumped that bad?
 
Proper race that; gone from last years RSA being brilliant to being crap and back to it looking good again!
Should probably just wait till this weekend next year for antepost bets, some very impressive winners and huge market shake ups
 
I think the re emergence of Delta Work ans Santini shows how much the second season novices improve towards spring most years
They are the ones to go with.
Think I'll be going with the champ though at this stage.
We'll see what the ground is like on the day.

Gold Cup shaping up to be a fantastic race
 
Cracking stuff from Delta Work, he had his doubters but rock solid against Kemboy there.

Definitely in the mix now.

Yep, the 7 yr old would have me worried.
But I love his prep.
It gives him the best chance.
To follow up that is.
Others previous winners tend to run everywhere, except for Best Mate, who was fairly selective.
 
Thought Percy was cruising round the home turn but delta work put the race to bed within a few strides.

Very impressive.
 
I thought Percy ran a cracker. Wouldnt fancy him for Cheltenham but he ran a good race today. Group 1 placed is probably his limits nowadays as opposed to possible group 1 winner.


Delta will relish the extra 2 1/2f in the gold cup.
 
Get 14/1 for Percy with boylesports NRNB. Looked like the winner jumping two out.Pat Kelly always gears this horse towards Cheltenham and had a much smoother prep than last year!
 
Percy didn’t look like he was going the first half of the race and Slowly worked himself into it.
I’m a sucker for course form and his record at leopardstown isn’t great. Dunno whether it’s the course, the ground or not being 100% wound up today but he’ll only improve for Cheltenham. I think he’s a cracking bet at the prices. Right last years gold cup off as he never jumped a single fence and was struggling from the off. 14/1 is a phenomenal price
 
Fairly solid four horse race now.
Unless we get extreme conditions.
Wouldn;t completely rule out any second season chasers but.
