Yep. The idea that the decisions made now over distance will reflect where he goes in March is historically not accurate, as you point out with Samcro
100% this. I wouldn't be getting giddy on any target based on his next run.

Anyone can say any rubbish they want, it wont be official right up until the death.
Its A dangerous game, trying to interpret comments from the likes of gordon in November.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment that's its dangerous trying to interpret comments in November, isn't that the whole point of what we are all doing on here?! Every single one of us will have backed horses that have never even run in GB& Ire for a meeting 6 months away! The very nature of antepost betting is trying to interpret comments / actions months in advance.
I think it will be interesting if EA goes 2m Maiden Hurdle, 2m Royal Bond, 2m Deloitte as his prep for Cheltenham. I always think trainers are creatures of habit and if he's a certainty to go for the Ballymore, then why not follow the Samcro route and take in the Monksfield instead of the Royal Bond? It could simply be that the Royal Bond is a week later and EA appeared later than Samcro... or it could be that they want to try him over 2m in better company to to give them a better steer on his Supreme credentials.
The big breakaway very impressive against little of note, looks like this could be his trip to me.
Bigger tasks ahead but hard not to be impressed.
QUOTES: THE BIG BREAKAWAY has excited us all the way through and has gone about that like a really nice horse, but we've got to remind ourselves he's only four. He's 17hh, so he's going to keep improving and we'll look for a race around Christmas. He's a lovely actioned horse and I'm sure he'll be better on better ground, but he can cope with that easy ground with his size and raw ability. He's not short of pace and works well at home. He's one of our nicest young horses and looks like he has a massive future - he's exciting, really exciting - Joe Tizzard, assistant trainer
I'm not sure who owns him but GIANTS TABLE at hendos is meant to be very nice too. (Bought by Jamie codd)
I keep hearing him being referenced when others related to him or ran against him are being purchased by those connected to the yard.
