Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2020

I'm not a backer, but it certainly didnt want me to rush out and add him! Thought his hurdling wasnt great.

I wouldnt be surprised if he's out over 2m next time... not least because Andy Dufresne will likely be earmarked as JP's horse for this race.

Andy Dufresne or Chantry House ;)

or dlauro, or elixir d'ainay.

BS and EA Supreme
AD Ballymore (no point wasting another horse against the aeroplane)
Dlauro Albert Bartlett

Easy :highly_amused:

I think Blue Sari’s hurdling will need to improve significantly but this was his Hurdling debut and he is trained by a master so I would imagine that is something they will address. He clearly has a big engine. Mark Walsh said he always felt in control and felt he would come on a bundle. He did beat a field of 22 so I think one has to see the performance as a positive.

Mulins has said Blue sari will be middle distance

He already said he wanted to start him over 2m last week.
With a preference to working his way up in trip.

Consequently he had a niggle and stuck him straight over 2 1/2.

After the race willie said he wants to drop him back to 2 on his next start. mark walsh said the same and added that he could come back to 2 1/2 later on

QUOTES: BLUE SARI was very free early on and he was doing a bit too much, but I'm happy that he will improve a good bit for that. We will probably come back in trip too. He probably won't go to the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse in two weeks, we'll wait for Christmas. A faster run race over a shorter trip will make him a much easier ride. He's a nice young horse and one I'm looking forward to for the rest of the season - Willie Mullins, trainer

From the same trainer who in his 2017 stable tour said Getabird is one who needs a trip but went on to run in the supreme.Im just saying take it with a pinch of salt

His bumper form was good last season when he ran Envoi Allen to three-quarters of a length in the Cheltenham Festival bumper after winning by 11 lengths on his debut at Gowran Park. We’re looking forward to a novice hurdle campaign with him and he made a good start winning a maiden over 2m4f at Punchestown on Saturday. He was quite keen in the early stages and I think a strongly run two-mile race will suit him well. I'd imagine he'll go to Leopardstown at Christmas

He won well over 2m3f at Naas this month. It looked a decent maiden and the first two pulled well clear of the rest. He’s in the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse next month, but I’m not yet sure about plans for him.

He won a 1m4f maiden at Maisons-Laffitte last year and is a promising type for novice hurdles. He started off over 2m at Cork on Sunday but his lack of experience found him out and his jumping over the last three hurdles let him down. He might need to go up in distance.

Whilst it was clearly a pretty poor race, it was still nice to see the Charles Byrnes horse that finished miles behind Andy Dufresne winning easily enough yesterday at Punch.

Envoi Allen, Abracadabras & Fury Road all entered up for the Monksfield Novice Hurdle at Navan on Sunday.

Past 3 winners of that race are

Easy Game
Samcro
Death Duty

so it's not a Supreme trial, don't think Abacadabras will be running...?

If EA skips it for R Bond then I think we know his Fez target.
