Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2020

You can’t have a JP novice hurdle list without Chantry House included. He’s another that I’d have down for the Ballymore too. Seems like JP has landed himself a whole bunch of potentially smart horses, all for the same race.

He will probably buy a few more along the way to bolster his chances of winning races at Cheltenham!! He very often has a few runners in the big festival races, more so in Ireland just like Gigginstown having 4 to 5 runners. I just think that’s where the horses I’ve mentioned will end up at present. I probably will be proved wrong but that’s the races I’ve backed them for.

Regardless of where they end up, JP has a hell of a hand for novice hurdles and chases.

A half-brother to Waiting Patiently, he has looked a high-class prospect from day one and had a fantastic season in bumpers, when his victories included the Grade 2 at Aintree. He’d come back with sore shins after failing to come down the hill at Cheltenham earlier on. It’s been a struggle getting the weight off this autumn and he’s been a bit behind the others fitness-wise, so I’d expect him to come on enormously for his run at Chepstow last week. He didn’t hurdle fluently and will have to improve his jumping in order to progress. Although we started off at 2m we’ll step up to 2m4f next time.

Needs to be renamed McDonalds that horse, was awful the other day. No chance in this

Not one for me either, especially given Nicholls recent record with Novice hurdlers. Just posting the stable tour as he’s been mentioned on here before.

Anyone know much about Monkfish? Running tomorrow if on

Very expensive purchase for a Ricci/Mullins

Not on stable tour with ATR......worth a thought pre race?

think he was beat by the Brassil horse Longhouse Poet, that ran well the other day behind Elixir D'ainay.
The bumper they both ran in has worked out pretty well so far.

Correct. I’m hoping Monkfish franks the form.

I watched the replay of the Naas race - Elixir & Longhouse today , pretty impressive from both of them .
Already got L.P in the book , S'pose i should add Elixir too.

If anyone has backed Envoi Allen for life changing amounts then they must have put a lot on.

I thought that too.
But I’ve heard Gordon’s put enough on to pay for a gastric band. So maybe that’s what they mean.:)

Looby says he’s a huge horse, so I’d doubt a bumper would’ve suited Monkfish. Will be worth watching

Yeah he's likely one for next season rather than this [insert cliche].

BLUE SARI
I wanted to run him last weekend, but some complication arose so I couldn’t run him, which was disappointing. He runs at the weekend over two and a half miles, which should be okay for him. He has schooled well and I’m very happy with him.

The Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham is a deep race tomorrow and plenty will have a chance. I've not backed Thyme Hill but if he wins that race giving weight then it's a big positive as it would not be easy off levels. I really like L'air Du Vent but I'm concerned about my subconscious Tizzard obsession still.

It looks a cracker Jackie, and with the exception of Born By The Sea (will probably win now!) I think every horse has a fair chance.

I am with you though, and hope L'air Du Vent runs well.

Could well be off.

Cheltenham abandoned tomorrow

Blue Sari declared over 2m 4f tomorrow

Havent been on for a while, but boy I was so impressed with Andy Dufresne! Best novice performance of the season for me. Just loved everything about him. Cant remember the last time I saws a hurdling debutante take his fences so slickly. Reminded me of a certain Vautour.

Topped up on him quite significantly and cant wait to see him again. If Malone Road has an injury as suspected, it really doesnt surprise me that Gordon will want to split up EA and AD... it looks quite possible they are his two best novices for the time being... and also gives him a chance to give both JP and Cheveley Park a winner... something Im sure he would be very keen to do.

Dont know what to make of that at all from Blue Sari :/
