2024 Triumph Hurdle (Juveniles)

Yep, it was Henderson and Geraghty, and no one has guessed it yet.

Only horse I could remember was diakali who I had my fiver on as a kid, at around 12/1 I think.

Just checked and I have absolutely no recollection of that horse, which makes it strange that he went off fave since I remember a lot of talk about Our Conor being a future superstar.

This is all I remember about the race too, to be honest.

Rolling Star in the Buckley silks? I think he and Far West were the two main uk players heading into it?

Well done

Barely remembered it myself even after reading it!

Yeah, annoyed. Backed Mighty Bandit today, and for whatever reason thought I had backed him for the Triumph. Think he was 50's before the race with someone too :boxing: Not sure I want to add at 16's now though!

Recycle the winnings it's just a win today and Cheltenham bet at 67/1

Good point :encouragement:

Really taken with that performance today. Joseph's horse was well backed, and he's quickened away from that one like an ordinary horse.

Rather be on Mighty Bandit at 16s than Burdett Road at his current price. Great performance for his first racecourse outing. Finished so strongly and he put a lot of ground between himself and the rest after the last. Sounds like his prep wasn't ideal either. Hopefully see him in the grade 2 at Leopardstown at Christmas.

What’s the chances of Wodhooh getting beat today with Jack looking like throwing the kitchen sink at her? :boxing:

Elliott has 2 other juveniles for the Triumph possibly, so surely she’s running to lose a couple of those British lbs being rated 130.

The Fairyhouse grade 3 looks interesting

Kala Conti
Nara.
Batman Girac
Nurburgring (best Wodhooh last time)

It does.

Personally I'm hoping for a Kala Conti win.

I'm looking at Nurburgring thinking he could be a Boodles type.

How was Wodhooh today?

Can I take my Triumph slip out of the bin?

won well in the end in a race I thought was run at a decent pace...max the stars another unexposed that just didn't have the finish. Time compares well to jeriko race (officially 7 secs quicker) but much more of a race.

I think likely there will be better but id hold the slip for now
