2024 Triumph Hurdle (Juveniles)

How was Wodhooh today?

Can I take my Triumph slip out of the bin?

Won easily enough to be honest.

I thought she would be given a tender ride with an eye on the boodles :boxing:

Still where I expect to turn up.... they ones that have won along the way get the special hay and get the Gordy 7lbs improvement at the festival handicap hurdles..... still on the radar for me for that (all said without me watching this race!) :biggrin-new:

Boodles for sure, Elliott already has two for the Triumph. Will get a UK mark now also.

Was showing as given 130 before the run today on the RP racecards?

Also, he's beaten a 117 rated animal by 2 3/4 lengths getting 3lbs, and a 90 rated hurdler back in 4th (some 15 odd lengths behind), so I don't think they'll be in a hurry to move it up an awful lot if the 130 is correct.

Chepstow grade 2 over xmas the next target for her.

The Fairyhouse grade 3 looks interesting

Kala Conti
Nara.
Batman Girac
Nurburgring (best Wodhooh last time)

Have a gut feeling that Batman produces a spectacular appearance.

Have backed him accordingly in the hope he's Willies main man.

won well in the end in a race I thought was run at a decent pace...max the stars another unexposed that just didn't have the finish. Time compares well to jeriko race (officially 7 secs quicker) but much more of a race.

I think likely there will be better but id hold the slip for now

What you are trying to say is ..... No. :applouse:

If Batman wins that tomorrow, then it just means Majborough needs lumping the hell out of. He readily booted Batman out of the way at Auteuil on debut. I'm hoping for a big run from Nara who I put up plenty early, but god Henrys found a right tricky race for her to make her stable debut having not run since April against a fit and ready Kala.

He’ll be there to win but then minded for the boodles if he’s beat after running in a couple more graded races :emmersed:

You are sweating aren't you.

We shall see.

Not one I'd be interested in at the moment but that could change tomorrow. The Compiegne race was bad and the 2nd was in the shop window and not trying to lose it's maiden tag. Hood first time puts me off as well. I think he's in there as a benchmark for Willie but maybe he's better than I think.

The only one of interest to me at the moment is Nara.

I was really impressed with Mighty Bandit and so I'm comfortable to wait and see which of Willies comes out this month and impresses instead of trying to guess which of his many juveniles will be the chosen one.

More than happy to have a pop at the Batman. Only small stakes for huge returns so no real risk.

Yea I’d see it as something similar from Mullins side. Possibly getting him out tomorrow as well seen as the double green are over for IEP. Wouldn’t have any interest in Batman winning a triumph.

Only possibly play I could see is maybe Batman to win tomorrow onto Majborough for the spring but I wouldn’t be sold on him either, comments seam to suggest his future lies over the bigger stuff.

Should be a good race all the same! No bet in the race but I’d probably pick Nara if I had to land on one tomorrow. Just depends on how soft a ride mark gives her fto

…..times like this I’d be looking at Saxon’s race planner but I note Lossiemouth won this race last year so 50-1 WTAF is worthy of consideration (just in case).

It's a decent race for Cheltenham prospects win or lose in this.

2022 Lossiemouth (won Triumph), Risk Belle (placed Boodles) and Sundial (placed Boodles)

2021 Fil Dor (placed Triumph)

2020 Saint Sam (placed Boodles)

2019 Saint DOroux (places Boodles)

2018 Couer Sublime (placed Triumph)

2016 Bapaume (placed Triumph) and Mega Fortune (placed Triumph)

Not always the winners that end up being relevant for Cheltenham and not a great win record at Cheltenham but plenty of places

Nara drifting like a barge this morning

She was hugely underpriced at 10/3 last night in this field on debut for connections. The price about her now is more like it.

The Brassil horse has seen a fair amount of money which is interesting
