Bravemansgame was more impressive visually

But id say Bob ollingers form has much more depth both today and his run against ferny
 
....Bob Olinger as low as 7-1 (NRNB) and high as 16-1 for Bartlett. Not sure if after race interview left that door open.

Henry pretty much ruled out AB I believe before todays race, kind of narrowed it down to Supreme or Ballymore as he said BO had a good turn of speed. Can't see them moving away from Ballymore personally.

“He’s got a lot of pace as well, though. We’ll probably enter him for the three novice hurdles at Cheltenham and see nearer the time, but in my mind it will be either the Supreme or the Ballymore, as opposed to the Albert Bartlett."

And fair play to Upping The Ante's Gavin Lynch - I remember him saying he'd already seen the winner of next year's Ballymore - in an episode shortly BEFORE last year's Festival.

Yesterday I was thinking far too many of my multiples involved Bob O.

Now I'm thinking I may need to take significant amounts of valium for breakfast every day of the Festival to cope with the excitement.

Something has surely got to go wrong.

Still the dream lives on for another day. Stay in the present and if it makes us smile - then that in itself makes it all worthwhile.

Considering he pulled so hard and they eased up on him once they knew he was beat ... I thought it was still a fairly good performance

Also fantastic performance by Bob Olinger and congratulations to those on decent prices!

Some lovely RABs with Bob here, well done.
I found 2 with him in, one with Queens Brook and one with Monalee...
 
So BO comes here, and now even more unlikely AI does as it looks really quite a tough race.

Bravesmansgame pushed to 9/2 for those who missed the price.

I hadn’t ever really considered the supreme for BO and after 2 wins at 2mile4 it doesn’t seem likely...please someone just reiterate that haha I can’t handle an Appreciate It Part Deux :nightmare:
 
Has anyone got any comments re Ashdale Bob after his fall ?
 
BO will have too much toe for Brave. The likely better ground will only exaggerate that. Moving forward, Brave could be a beast over fences as it looks like he will be a slick jumper to me.
 
I'd say going for the supreme seems unlikely at this stage. You'd want to see him run over 2 miles at least once and I can't see them having an other outing now before March. Maybe if the going is real testing they could switch if we searching for a reason. The more hurdles they jump the better too, he jumps so well.

"I wanted to ride a straightforward enough race on him. He's a simple horse to ride in that sense and I was happy most of the way.

"For the future he's probably going to be one for longer trips. He's won a point-to-point and looks one for fences in the future.

"I'm delighted for Brian Acheson and Robcour (owners) who are very supportive of the game and to get a Grade One winner is brilliant.

Anything other than straight to the Ballymore for Bob Olinger would be a mistake. IMO.
