Supreme Novices 2018

Somebody on here I'm sure, (sorry can't remember who) mentioned a horse called KESSELRING?

Rumours on social media are that Mullins acquired the horse off Hannon and is their Supreme horse!

Time will tell I suppose and the betting of course!

Haha I just came here to quote that. Look on YouTube and greatrex fb page. Obviously different at home compared to on the track

Yeah I saw them mate, maybe he just spooked, it can happen unknowingly with the younger horses more so. Next time will be a different story I'm sure.

Heard nothing on this horse bar a few Tweets on Twitter!

Doesn't like hurdles :devilish:

Not watched yet, will do later.
I do know they schooled the horse extensively so if he doesn't jump them now he probably never will, they popped him over a few before the Aintree bumper last year as they were considering a novice hurdle at the National meeting at one time...

Not sure I could back a horse named after a Nazi general tbh

Hadn't realised WR unseated so early in race so not the ideal of starts.
He gave the 2nd a fair bit of air and jinked into the flight where he came down but having only cleared 2 obstacles in public I wouldn't write him off just yet...

Been working most the day so not seen the WR race yet but don't sound too good

Anyone heard when this Annamix of Mullins is going to be gracing our tv screens, be great to see if it’s a Douvan, Vatour or a Senewalk

Added Lalor yesterday to my little clutch of supreme hurdle bets .

Jimmy - Mullins says he hopes to have Annamix out b4 xmas

Saddle slipped approaching the flight, it distracted the horse and cause the jink so the run is best ignored I think...

Western Ryder is out at Stratford tomorrow, Greatrex has found a suitably soft introduction for the horse and the expectation is that he'll win this comfortably, securing Dickie Johnson is a great booking and something I know connections were trying to do last season.
Win tomorrow then map out the rest of the season which is currently targeting the Supreme....

Non starter for the Supreme in my book. Trainers like Greatrex don't win Supremes. Its the King thing, loads of talking horses but they never do it. Pays handsome dividends staying clear of those sort of trainers in the big races.

I'm a little surprised by that but Tizzard knows his stuff so I guess he feels he'll be competitive over 2m still. It will be interesting if any real competition turn up to take him on.

I still think he'll be in the Ballymore come March.

I was of the think the AB would be more likely for him than the Supreme so I'm surprised he goes over 2m nto.

Suppose they might as well pitch him in here, see how he shapes and give themselves the option. One to avoid on the day looking at the way he finished the race but depends what else shows up I suppose.

I'm really taken with this horse and hope he keeps looking impressive!

He's got a bright future that's for sure.

Slate house seems a popular horse on here and he was impressive enough on debut. My worry would be that he seems like he'd be suited by further but is running over 2 because tizzard has white moon for 2 and a half and seems a little sweeter on that horse from the (admittedly small) pieces I've seen from the yard.
