Cheltenham 2017 Antepost Bets

3 places, just i'm discounting the 1st as that's surely a formality hence 2 places now and will only be 1 place up for grabs on the day.

I did look to see a without Altior market in the Arkle but couldn't? see it?

PP have one

As far as key trials or the graded races are we almost done now before the festival? I know they'll be more runs that will have an effect on the handicaps and the odd midweek race that could throw up a runner here or there (Invitation Only this Thursday?) but I always get the impression this weekend gone with Newbury and Leopardstown marks a kind of cut off before the festival for at least the graded races and specialist races (foxhunter/cross country).

Anymore key races come up in the calendar before the festival?

Only ones that come to mind are:

18th Ascot - Reynoldstown for the RSA / 4 Miler
18th Ascot - Ascot Chase for the Gold Cup / Ryanair

25th Kempton - Adonis for the Triumph (/ Supreme Charli Parcs?)

EW Lucky 15 just placed

Champion Chase- Gods Own
Bumper- Western Ryder
4 Miler- American
Close Brothers- Hells Kitchen

Pays just over 57k for a quid e/w L15

Redmills Day could be significant this year. Mares race Annie prep'd in last year ?

Its the calm before the storm now.

According to Lydia, American goes to RSA..."but ready Warwick conqueror American heads to the RSA rather than the four-miler according to trainer Harry Fry."

In case it,s useful, i saw in the R.P yesterday , Tom segal pricewise picks
for the G.National out on thurs.

I'm sure he'll give Cause of Causes and Gallant Oscar good mentions

uggggghhhh i looked at both the RSA and 4 Miler and i really expected them to go the 4 miler route as after watching his last few races would stand a great chance in it, RSA not so sure he will even be placed, cant see beating Might Bite and ADO, and after disko yesterday might be a tough ask.

4 miler looks the right race IMO, but i guess they are thinking otherwise. Hopefully we have a U-Turn and i can have a go at this decent payout.

Tough but some day 1 of us is gonna hit a 6 figure payout.

Best ante post vouchers i have are thistlecrack at 12/1 backed on gold cup day last year, finians oscar 20/1 supreme & 16/1 neptune & uknowhatimeanharry at 5/1 plus plenty of multiples down the swanny!

Very nice CoC ... biggest I've heard on Thistlecrack... gonna be an exciting 5+ minutes for you as he launches himself at each fence :triumphant:

When the handicap weights come out can we do another yankee? :very_drunk:

Yeah had a good festival last year and was so impressed with Thistlecrack decided to back it there and then. Been happy with the price all year, bit more tentative after last performance but still think its decent value if his jumping holds up! Now if only Willie would re-route Yorkhill to the CH to get my Thistlecrack 8/1, douvan 1/1, Yorkhill 7/1 treble back on track!

Daily yankees are a tradition in here....
