Whisper going here rather than the JLT by the sounds of it.
Thought the JLT trip was ideal for him myself
Owners preference maybe regarding Whisper? Seeing whether they have a Gold Cup contender next season?
Or Top Notch is a clear preference in the JLT? OR Might Bite is weaker than expected in the RSA? OR Davy Russell has another ride in the JLT?! Diamond King? Disko?
Diamond King is surely going for the plate. He has a mark of 150 over fences by the British handicapper, which is 1lb higher than his hurdle mark when winning the Coral cup. I like his chances at 20/1 - although haven't taken it yet.
No Reynoldstown entry for American. Indicator that he does not go for this and heads to 4 miler???
I can only hope![]()
Ive left Might Bite alone because of money being tight but finally got the money to have a bet on him. Still worth the 7/2? Im thinking I might chuck Douvan and Altior in to try and beef the price out a little

I personally wouldnt back him at 7/2 but thought 12s and 16s which Ive took is good value looking at it now.. is he really not going to be in the first 3?
The way it jumped at Donny wouldn't have filled you with confidence would it? Was too high and bit careful at them and that was under zero pressure. But your on at nice prices though and value well and truly gone on this fella. Personally, I would still want 10-12s before I backed it
I can see the angle Kev, but he seems to have a knack for under performing at certain tracks and if you take the under performing LTO literally you'd have to consider his lack of form at Cheltenham too IMO, irrelevent of distance.
For trading purposes though as suggested I don't see it being a problem, because as we know the Ruby factor will kick in.
