Ultima Handicap Chase 2020

PN confirmed Discorama for this yesterday so Fitzhenry will most likely be aimed at the KM, or saved for the Irish National.

Yes but Fitzhenry most likely JP runner if he wants one

Good to see the conditional get in. My only selection alongside Vintage clouds

A lot more not declared than I thought. May have to now look at the bottom weights just in case I've missed anything.

Superb. Mister Malarky & Mulcahy's Hill IN, Fitzhenry out.

Also glad to see La Bague Au Roi not declared, hopefully the Plate for her. Well done Q

Interesting to see No Comment here and not in the KM

Happy to see Shattered Love has been scratched suggesting she will go to the plate

Would fancy Discorama here now, not entered in the National so you know this is the full aim

The Conditional 11-1 3pts Sky
Discorama 33-1 2pts ew4 B365
Kildisart 33-1 1pt ew4 B365

Definitely be adding a couple to this team.
I'll have a real good look over next day or two.

Vintage Clouds and Cepage would be my nods to take a proper good look at ... hopefully you like them both too

Also, Big River I'll be backing if he's a biiiiig forgotten price.

Yep, only in a double with Storyteller though.
50-1 & 20-1 so excited that I'm at least getting a run at the moment.:encouragement:

50/1 single and in a double Fitzheney 33s, fingers crossed!

Added No comment at 20s straight after decs

Like many here already have Kildisart and lots of Disco

Fitzhenry and Le Breuil will both tighten up for Thursday.

Should I add jonjos :confused::confused:

Both of my two made it safe and sound which literally never happens for me in this race. Have a horrible record in it with multiple players but never a winner.

Kildisart 16s and Vindication 11s were my two to avoid. Not at all a race I excel in

Nice run there from Mon Lino for the Nolan fan club

Activial is on my radar here.

He's only 25/1 at the moment but I anticipate him being one of those that drifts a bit because he isn't a sexy pick for this race at all.

He was 6th last year, off 6lb higher and was beaten 7L. Based purely on that, he's handicapped to be in the mix so 25/1 is a fair price... but.... he went off 40/1 last year so I'm hoping for the same again this year.

I imagine he'll find a couple too good, but fingers crossed for 6 places and 33/1+

Briefly mentioned Big River too - he was 4th last year off, he's 1lb higher this year but stayed on strongly from last to the line in this last year and recently a couple of horses beaten in this have come back next year to win (Un temp Pour Tout and Beware The Bear) - it's an angle I've obviously looked at this year again. Went off 28/1 last year, I will want 33/1 and 5+ places to back him.

I'm on:

Vinndication 12/1
Discorama 33/1
Cepage 20/1
Kildisart 33/1
Vintage Clouds 50/1

Really want to add the two in the post above too.... :dejection:

Of the ones I haven't backed, the two that really stand out are The Conditional who is just clearly well-in on his Newbury run - impossible to argue with his claims.

The other is Who Dares Wins who I've missed the price on but what a freakin ace little horse.

In 2018 he went Cheltenham Festival in March, Aintree Festival in April then in May hopped back onto the Flat to my local track Chester and placed in the Chester Cup!

Been 4th in a Group 1 in France, 3rd in a Coral Cup at Cheltenham, been on the almost last in a Triumph. 3rd in a Royal Ascot handicap.

A winner over fences, hurdles and on the flat (Northumberland Plate)

Got within a neck of De Plotting Shed who wins the Northen Trust :devilish:

Latest win was a Grade 2 over fences.

What a remarkable horse. That's stunning isn't it really. I can't back him at 10/1 but what a horse.
