Supreme Novices 2018

Arguably it's harder to carry a double penalty in that company. But I think he's been campaigned very well personally. Like neon wolf was last year. There's only 1 graded race in March that matters this season :)

who was the last supreme winner to not have taken in graded company.

If The Cap Fits' win exactly 3 seconds faster than Buveur D'airs later on the card.

It's a long time to Cheltenham doctor. Graded novice races are only a name. The 2nd 3rd 4th could all run in a graded race and be fully entitled to be there. Theres been far poorer graded novice hurdles than that both sides of the sea this season.

Although it has to be noted Ar Mest set a relentless gallop.

ITCF ... if you had to day now, where would you run him ?

Unbeaten over 2m will they find the Supreme too hard to resist? 16s any race but 33 ballymore are in my portfolio but I'm not confident about target

Real steel gone to 9-1 with skybet , someone had a big punt ?? ( kev ?? ) l.o.l :devilish:

The fact I can still bet with sky is proof they don't fear me BC :highly_amused:

To be fair they're NRNB and if Real Steel wins well and becomes Mullins no.1 he'd be shorter.

It's also potentially because he looks like the stable number 1 tomorrow ... huge shake up potentially in the market tomorrow!

Mengli Khan, Real Steel, Sharjah ... whoever wins will be fav for the Supreme

Yeah , your'e right . Looking forward to that race tomorrow .I'm sort of hoping Sharjah is the one , but got all three
Covered nicely . Thing's starting to shape up now for some of the Festival races !!.

Would have liked Daly Tiger to have been out and impressed again to make Real Steel's form look top drawer. Although theres no arguing RS and Sharjah are going to have to be very good to be MK tomorrow.

No doubt about it he's very good.
If the cap fits wins all. :devilish:

Fair play Scooby, you've been touting this horse for a while now. I'd followed you in on both Festival races and won a couple of quid today too. Cheers!

Big day for Mengli Khan backers today. Some real strength behind Real Steel in the market, and this is the first time MK hasn't been strong in the market. No doubt the winner will be a short priced fav at the end of today.

Who to say I am not backing Real Steel lol. 40's 16's etc of to bookies soon

Real Steel is 20/1 to win the Supreme with B365, or 9/1 nrnb with Skybet. I'm looking to add 2pts on Real Steel before today's race but unsure how to play it? Split stakes between the two?

Any ideas?

My only bets in the supreme are Sayar at 33/1 and small bets on both If The Cap Fits and Sharjah on the exchanges.

When ever he's beaten, and that might not be this season, I'll be genuinely suprised. Will take an extremely good one to beat him imo.

The answer is surely the same for any Mullins novice FM.
NRNB.
Wins today and you're still beating SP. Loses and they might try a different trip?

So many times last season I backed THE Mullins horse and they kept flopping... this season his stand out looks like was Annamix and that's out... so I'd be cautious of assuming the supreme winner is in his yard, albeit I've got enough of them backed already haha.

I'd be backing Mengli Khan before he shortens up again ...

Someone obviously thinks RS is going to put it up to MK today as he's really strong in the betting this morning for today's race.

I ended up putting 1pt on RS at 20/1. After yesterday's win, I think Of The Cap Fits is the perfect horse for the Supreme but want one of the Irish on side, and I'm not a fan of MK.

ITCF is still 14/1 with PP/BFSB any race which is mental on what he's done. 16s nest prince for supreme. No brainer.

I’m on ITCP fits for the Ballymore but I’d be convinced he’ll end up in the Supreme now and can’t understand how you can still get 14s on him. On a line through Lost In Translation he has a good few lengths in hand on Claimantakinforgan which is top form, so am happy to go in quite big on him. Will probably wait til after this afternoons race in Ireland to determine the extent to which I get involved, definitely
see him as the most likely winner at this stage

I really like mengli khan , the market needs a strong fav.
Real steel wins and goes fav .. 4/1 maybe

2 from 2 for Mullins so far..... could be a huge day for him .... Real Steel might go off fav!
