Supreme Novices 2018

2 from 2 for Mullins so far..... could be a huge day for him .... Real Steel might go off fav!

A potential nice one for the mares novice running too, been waiting for her to come out. Not 100% sure she wants 2 miles as dwelt and ran green. But she's had plenty of time

Antey was recovering from a recent wind op apparently and was in need of the run. That explains the big drift yesterday, and was a good performance under the circumstances.

Good to see Kev. Was getting worried as he’s been well backed every time

Hahaha OH MY. I have NEVER seen a race like that. Hahahha what on earth can you even make of that

Blimey. What a race. MK didn’t look quite himself most of the way round today. His head didn’t appear to be on the job today.

I've topped up on If The Cap Fits any race 14/1 with PP

No idea what to make of that race haha!

@TheBetCommunity

Mengli Khan jumps violently out to his left and clatters through the wing of the hurdle.

That leaves Real Steal and Sharjah in the lead, both going well.

BOTH HORSES FELL AT THE LAST and Whiskey Sour is left to walk over the line.

One of the most crazy races you'll ever see

They have summed it up perfectly. 😂

Impossible somer! I suppose Sharjah was the one to take out of the race. But hard to know what MK was going to do. Shame he had to make the running himself so early as he didn’t seem keen. Still think the Supreme will be ideal for him.

Mengli Khan wasn't hurdling well, will need a confidence boosting run next time but went out too early to say he was beaten... nad too early to write him off at all, just a line through it for me.

Sharjah was travelling well up to the last and if it had been another jockey you'd have thought he had Real Steel covered.... BUT Real Steel was off the bridle and a little out paced maybe early on, and did well to be where he was?

Le Richbourg isn't good enough, the winner Whiskey Sour needs further as he was first off the bridle?

The bookies have cut Sharjah .... and ITCF and Claimantakinforgan

:highly_amused: I think I said "whoever wins this race, wins the Supreme" ... if I didn't say it on the forum I definitely did to a couple of friends.... did NOT see that coming haha

I see no reason to write off Mengli Khan or Sharjah though, both seemed to be traveling well at the time of their capitulations. That flat spot Reel Steel went through was very strange but the way he got back up to nearly win was exceptional.

Think I'll join Kev and make ITCF my number one.

Im happy with my punt on Claimantakinforgan after watching that. Wasnt impressed with either MK or RS, Sharjah appeared to be travelling well and probably would have won, I'd be very surprised if all 3 of those make the Supreme

Hoping for a good showing from Francin tomorrow, starting over 2m4f suggests Ballymore, but the Supreme could really do with a 'Melon.'

I'm really excited to see what epicuris is made of tomorrow at limerick.
