I had enough on Cracking Smart any race to not need to back him in this race, but the 40/1 was just way too big NRNB (as I thought the 33/1 NRNB was before that).... so I've got an almighty return on him as it stands in this race.

Not planning to have that much on if he does line up mind you.

40/1 still available for Cracking Smart. But as low as 20/1 with PP. Inteesting though that he is roughly the same price for this G1 as he is for the G3 Coral. Logically that could mean that 25/1 NRNB for the G3 race is the better value

I can only see 20s NRNB Ron?

I think he'll run if Samcro doesn't... HF put up an interesting bit of 'evidence' to show that Elliott only runs one for Gigginstown in any Cheltenham race.

I suppose Elliot’s stable is getting stronger and stringer so this could change but it’s quite a pattern.

I have a feeling Samcro will miss the festival but would have a saver on him if he did come here, just in case

It looks like being a much stronger race this year though Don. Samcro, Paisley Park, Faugheen and Penhill would all be tough nuts to crack.

That's the kind of bet I'd waste some free bets on...
 
I've just added Melon at 20/1 NRNB for the Stayers, as I hadn't seen Willie Mullins literally say he could be a 3 miler. PP only have him 10/1 NRNB and I think he'd be closer to that price than the 20s, if he went.

Lads, I got a ping this morning from a normally decent contact that Samcro has had a wind op, is flying, and heads here. Take it as you like, I have had a bit on NRNB.
