September ‘25 Yankee

Mydaddypaddy a consistent shortening for the Supreme. Could be worth chucking in as an alternative to Willies lot.

Early days, of course, but Skelton having the Turners winner this year, so could he follow it up in the Supreme this coming season?

Mydaddypaddy is a home bred, mentioned in my horses to follow HERE.

Was 50's, cut to 33's, 25's now best price 20's with some as short as 16's.

Exchange is showing favourably too, having contracted significantly on there the few weeks!

….maybe his novices will still go under the radar a bit. I think somebody suggested Mydaddypaddy last month for Turners, but he’s much shorter for Supreme. I’ll also give Skelton’s Kadastral another shout, he won valuable Newbury bumper and he then put him up as his horse to follow this coming season.

Saying that, the monies for Mydaddypaddy is probably telling. I’m on holiday in Kos at the minute and can’t check my black book but I think I did a daft Mydaddypaddy (Sup)/Kadastral (Turn) double to small stakes a few weeks back.

Worth baring in mind that nobhead horsewatcher X account mentioned the horse few weeks back saying horse is targeting the Supreme. He'll have his followers blind backing for sure, but the guy is full of shit. Not to say horse is not any good, but will be a reason why early money came

No worries, don't follow or bother with s**t accounts on Twitter (will never be X to me :ROFLMAO:), but thanks for the heads up (y)

It's ridiculous how they've priced this year Eggs, so many underpriced for how far out we are and how little there is to go on yet.
I wonder what the issue is with pricing Triumph horses, they may well have got stung a few years ago on Vatour or Lossie but last year as an example would probably have seen a dozen favs before the tapes went up and then the race was won by an unraced 100/1 shot even the owner, one of the most successful punters in history, didn't back and was told not to bother travelling to Cheltenham because the horse had no chance !
I haven't come across anyone who backed Poineros.

I was however a little surprised Manlaga was 12/1 given Unibet (if you can call them a bookie) were first up with 7s.
I'm not suggesting 12/1 is massive value but right now there's some real substance to his debut victory but as you say there are plenty more good horses out in the coming weeks...

Worth noting Uni were originally at 20s i think? with Manlaga

But yeah, they must have made an absolute fortune last season. I remember frank hickey saying Willy de houelle was their biggest liability on the Xmas PP show at the time.

May have missed it but has Manlaga changed hands

Yeah it was me earlier in this thread suggesting Turners, mainly because sure I’ve read somewhere they likened him to the new lion so assumed may go that route but nothing else than that.

Always hard to establish how much of a market swing is attributable to a wanker on x but definitely one I’m considering as a leg this month regardless

There's been a few podcasts/ previews up on youtube in the last ten days or so ,
I haven't watched them all , but i'm sure when they mention some of theses horses .
There must be a number of people who will jump on ., especially at the bigger prices .
and it doesn't take much for the bookies to get cutting on the prices., as we know .

Probably been mentioned before but Place De Le Nation at 20s not the worse shout for the mares novice hurdle.

I like her, just very weary of those with at least 2 runs already (she's had 3) because Willie will no doubt have handicaps in the back of his mind, depending on what other mares he has for that race.

She's no 'any race' price either, so that route is out for me.

I expect she'll win her maiden then go up in grade and that's when her target at the festival will be decided.

….seems to be quite a lot of enthusiasm behind Jimmy du Seuil for the BANC @ whopping 40-1, might be a difficult one for @knockando to leave out as we head into the pointy end of the month. Hopefully that price remains if he decides to select him

Would his form in graded company not concern FJs ?

It was something I had thought about then looked at the recent winners of the RSA.

Lecky Watson
The Real Whacker
L'Homme Presse
Topofthegame
Might Bite

I could probably go back further, but this bunch above, if you went on graded form alone, you'd not have backed any of them (generally speaking, not you personally), that's 5 of the last 9 winners right there.

Topofthegame was one of those I mentioned when I put up Jimmy Du Seuil, as he was one of those Coral Cup horses that went on to win a RSA. He finished a nk behind the winner in the Coral Cup off 4lb higher than what Jimmy Du Seuil had in it, but Jimmy Du Seuil hosed up going away to win by 3 lengths.

I'm definitely not sitting here believing Jimmy Du Seuil is an absolute god given cert, for a start Topofthegame looked a chaser in the making, you'd be hard pushed to say the same of Jimmy Du Seuil, IMO, however connections have stated that is the way they are heading, and 40/1 is a big price for a horse that has festival form to his name. Personally, I also think the intermediate trip is more his bag, but he's surely not going to end up in the Jack Richards, off, what I imagine will be close to top weight (being rated 155 over hurdles as a starting point), but it is why I have something in the back of my mind that makes me think they'll start chasing with a view to ending back up in the Coral Cup (and say he didn't take to fences, I hope I'm wrong, of course), but then again I don't trust any of these trainers :ROFLMAO:

Big time - I’ve been keeping a tracker of all shouts in the month to help my final decision and it’s hard to see him not in the mix…

Another 5am wake up post rum and coke all inclusive session was it Eggs?

….ha, ha, came home yesterday, Matey. Rum and ginger is my tipple, not a fan of coke (y)

Looks like William Munny will stay over hurdles and be going for the Champion Hurdle. William Munny OR 156 is 25/1. The New Lion OR 159 is 4/1. Make that make sense. Must be worth an EW punt surely.
