Advantage of a UK qualifier is that we will know his mark if he does go to one

Coltor-Decent run in the Boodles. Always looked a staying type. Interesting.

A favourite of mine, after that Rated Stakes win on Sunday.

He will need to run in a UK Pertemps Qualifier.
Probably Warwick.

His first official rating yesterday in Ireland is 132

Yeah he seems like he has so much more in the tank. If he can put his jumping together then he's got a huge race in him. The question is whether he'll be priced up early enough to get on at any value!

Exactly, an Elliott novice who ran at the weekend seems a likely choice for the Pertempts and just about obscure enough for GL not to want to mention it yet and give the price away.

He's be very much up there on any shortlist i'd have.
 
So far although not a super strong fancy i like Born Patriot, he will have a nice low weight and his trainer mentioned this again recently with a prep run in Jan/Feb, was staying on strong behind Kansas City Chief when qualifying in 2nd at the Oct meeting.

Unless a Fred Rogers or other unexposed type gets entered for a qualifier i’m struggling more than previous years to find the winner.

Tullybeg ran ok that Cheltenham race in Oct aswell before fading into 6th.

I think you’ve solved it there… the Tullybeg run was a piece of art to my eye. Cheltenham experience, fading back in to sixth and got a few lbs off mark if I’m not mistaken.

Dallas Des Pictons the other one of those currently qualified. Great Festival record and looks like he wants three miles now. Some more intriguing rides on him the last few times to get qualified then more than happy to get swamped late on last time

I agree with you on the Tullybeg ride. It was beautiful. I decided after that race to place a 1pt bet. That said, I suspect Elliott will have multiple competitive entries in the race as per previous years.
 
Be very interested in silver sheen if he reverts back to this, he was as low as 10s for this race before he got injured, highly progressive upto that Warwick win, a race in which the 3rd won next time out 2lbs higher...2 uninspiring chases this season may see him take up his entry. Was a bit of a fj horse too if i remember rightly, got a nice rating too.

Totally agree Madmoose. Can't see past Born Patriot myself at the moment.
Dunboyne looks interesting in the Leop qualifier if he turns up....

Taken the 33s on Maze Runner with B365 before his run tomorrow after Willie quoted that they are trying to get him qualified.

Given it's 6 places for the actual race tomorrow, probably worth backing that too at a double figure price if you do like him.

Appreciate if someone would be able to get Coventry priced up before he runs tomorrow. (Preferably with B365 if possible) Nolan knows how to get one ready for this.
 
With todays race in Ireland i keep looking at Duffle Coat for this.
Am i going mad?
 
Is Silver Sheen priced up anywhere for this race?
