May Yankee

…..I’d be wary of taking 4-1 FV for Ballymore at this stage. Indeed, I’d be wary of taking even shorter for the Supreme. Ante-post is calculated risk but the price has to be factored into the risk.

You guys are much better at this game than me, so I’ll go with the final selections but 9 months out I’d want a bit more value for uncertainty.

Bookies aren't exactly putting their necks on the line with those prices are they

Has anyone got any strong views on the Arkle, could be some juice in one or two of Mullins if we think that’ll be their target…

I definitely like the idea of El Fabiolo for the Arkle Chase , and i actually think 10-1 isn't that bad a price .
Already taken a punt early doors , so i'll be dissappointed if he run's elsewhere .
It might be a bit naive , but i have a feeling Jon Bon and El Fab , could be clashing down the road .
assuming that they both go chasing .:anonymous:.

If they clash over fences anything like when they met at Aintree then it will be something to look forward to

El Fabiolo (Arkle)
Sir Gerhard (Turners)
Galopin Des Champs (GC)
Brandy Love (Mares Hdle)

Too easy isnt it?

Apologies for the delay - a difficult week in the real world.

May Yankee:
Sir Gerhard - Turners @ 8/1
El Fabiolo - Arkle @ 10/1
Gaillard Du Mesnil - NH Chase @ 7/1
Allaho - Ryanair @ 7/4

Best odds - 2177/1
Bookmaker - Paddy Power

not sure thread started yet, happy to open it up but don't want to step on Middle_Of_March 's toes with it - happy to do so if things hectic for you mate outside of the forum

Have just done it as it goes. Thanks though bud. Appreciated. A Gordon Elliott themed Yankee for this month as has been the way in recent years for June/July

Crack on, Middle_Of_March isn't precious about such things....

Great effort and discussion on May's yankee, I can't play at the prices as the only bookie I can use is considerably shorter than those at PP, I'll do this if/when better parity appears...
