J.L.T Novices Chase 2019

Beating SP too often is enough with some firms.

They'll be chuffed if you're using cashout on multiples, and other similar stuff. It's not there to be punter friendly.

Bookmakers are not going to be worried about anyone cashing out anything or getting a good price and beating the SP regularly. You could do this a hundred times a day as long as they are making money from you.

What they are wary of is losing money.

Some Bookies are far more wary than others as we all know. They have their own reasons for this.

So they won't be chuffed if you're cashing out multiples regularly, if you're winning every day.

But you're right that if you open a new account with any bookmaker and make money quickly or even make a few 'smart' bets (and don't necessarily win) then you will be monitored and possibly restricted or closed.
So looking savvy with a new account is dangerous if you plan to use it for the long term.

The bookies will closely monitor all new account because they don't want to lose and don't know you enough to trust you'll give it them back.

They will rarely disclose fully what their reasons are for restricting or closing, and I don't think they have to.
If they did then they'd simply be giving punters the route, so the system could be circumnavigated.

Anyway, I got told off for going on the other day in a race thread so I'll shut up now. apologies.

I think you are preaching to the converted Quevega.

I might start dishing out 'whip bans' :devilish: 2 days for excessive use of bad language :highly_amused:

My cashout on Vinndication is 1/15 I think. I'd obviously never dream of cashing it out when he's 16s.

THis season I've only cashed out on horses that are injured or have flopped. I haven't 'taken the profit' for anything that's shortened.

I'd be interested to see if I could make money on something like chate Neige / Annamix and only back them now for profit when it goes NRNB, but I fear I'd lose my account?

Personally, if I wanted to make profit simply from shortening prices, I’d be playing the stock market

You'll see jan 1st. All the figures change, Its set to a straight algarythm.
I'm cashing quick grabim / elderado allen of my live ones on that day. Will be more than double what it is now. On the former and almost on the latter.

Suggests it's their plan not his. Just like last season. I think he sees him as a Gold Cup horse and wants to look after him.

I heard a quote from KB yesterday that Cheltenham wasn't the be all and end all, then he went on to say that this horse could go a long way???
Flakey English trainer.

Hopefully the owners will put their foot down this time. It's their horse after all.

Why buy a dog and bark yourself?

Why buy a dog and bark yourself?

Why buy the dog in the first place if you're not allowed to play with it at the park?

If you believe what you read, the Brain Power owner (Buckley) insisted they go for the International... against Hendo's wishes...

Trainers do get things wrong. Even Willie.

Within reason yes. Swerving Cheltenham 2-years in a row (we know the owners want to run there) for no legitimate reason would be enough for me to find a new trainer.

Getabird

The fact that Ruby is thinking about going to Limerick to ride him in the Grade 1 on Wednesday tells you all you need to know.

All we need to know, as in the JLT is the target?

Haha, it tells us nothing hat we need to know.

Other than he is a grade 1 chaser?

My 'guess' is here, but none of the potential targets bar 4 miler would surprise me.

JLT > Arkle > RSA or Not at all....

Thanks mate. What did he say about Voix De Reve?

It's hard to fault what he has done over fences and he deserves a crack at the Grade 1 Racing Post Novices CHase at Leopardstown on Wednesday. That's where he goes now and he goes there with a chance
