Yeah possibly
Although he’s also got others to slot in especially Iknowtheway
Depends how bothered he’d be about a runner in the King George
Fact to file seems the best suited IMO

Thats the thing

He's never bothered with the King George has he

Maybe they have accepted f2f won't stay the gold cup and goes king George where Gaelic warrior may have gold cup ambitions

I think JP hasn’t always had the horses. He did supplement 2 last year though.
It’s Mullins that’s not that bothered usually cos of the clash with leopardstown and jockey etc

Yeah maybe, just wouldnt be any sort of prospect ante for me until some comments suggested that it would be him going

Be interesting re GW, he looks to
Me a horse that could win big races from 2 to 3m plus, seriously talented

FTF for me 3m ok, King George absolutely .
Cheltenham……Ryanair

Definitely not for me either
Be good race though if he’s also in the mix with Jango and jukebox and Gaelic

Spillanes Tower went off fav last year didn’t he?

Yeah he went over my head

But even then, he had a very good option in f2f for the savills last year

INTWYT is aimed at the GC only this year going off that run today, can't imagine he'll be ready for his life at Xmas.

Couple that with Cromwells form - sure it was 1-68 when i looked, brutal, so hopefully he turns that round soon

The King George of all KG's if it happens

Even with 3, some real quality in there, will be a cracker
I think all 3 will be near certs as long as Gaelic recovers. Even so, Banbridge will be back and a more tuned up Il Est Francais will bomb off from the front. Be a very interesting race to watch.

Do we think f2f had as hard a race as Gaelic ?

Not as hard but very close, especially if he was short of work which his drift suggested. Brutal match but superb race to watch. Gaelic very brave to dig in again. Would imagine we'll get to see them both facing off again in the Ryanair. PT will want the ride on him and Galopin. Both big chances.

Doesn't sound like both will go. Willie said one to Kempton and one to Leopardstown.

Mullins added: “I’m not going to say anything here now (about future plans), but we’ll look to have something in the King George and something in the Savills Chase in Leopardstown.
“We’ll see how they recover and how they come out of the race. It’s only five weeks away.”

Willie was pretty keen on a Gold Cup bid for Gaelic. I am sure that's what Ricci would want too. If Il Etait Temps gets beaten by fitter horses in Jonbon and L'eau Du Sud in the Tingle Creek, he could be another option of going up to the Ryanair. Gaelic would be the better option on ability i think but it's just another Willie sized spanner (oh matron) to throw into the works but that would then leave him short for the Champion Chase (for Townend) which he won't like so.......... it probably all hinges on Galopin Des Champs after all that :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

If it were a Deep ground Fez then Gaelic would have to be considered for the Champion Chase. He'd definitely get an entry. The way he bolted up in the Arkle on testing ground long stands in the memory.

He’s unbeaten over 3m. Quietly confident we’ll see a more settled showing at Kempton now that the fizz is out of the system.

Provided the reigning Gold Cup champ stays fit and FTF goes Ryanair I can’t see a world where Willie doesn’t roll the dice in the Gold Cup. He’ll want another strong dart along with Galopin.

I’d be amazed if he ever runs over 2miles again

I think it was on UTA last Tuesday when talking about Gaelic Warrior, DJ mentioned that Patrick Mullins is telling everyone and anyone that Gaelic wins the Gold Cup next March. So there must have been conversations about future targets that’s happened over the dinner table
