Was looking on the HRI site to see what mark Vanillier had been given after his win last week and can't see him listed. Indeed, none of the horses from that race appear in the full list of NH ratings. A quick check indicates that horses from other races that day have had revised marks published.

Am I missing something or is it just a case of HRI having not assessed the race yet (which seems strange)?

I read something last week (on here i think) that the horses from that particular race don't get rated for it.

he was left unchanged when he won it last year if i recall
 
Isn't that the case for all cross country races in Ireland...

Sure this has been said multiple times but the odds say.. 4 weeks out especially now. This is the widest open festival in years in terms of short priced favs. However I think we will eventually get to some even money favourites now.. But which ones. Also I have this horrible fear favouri campdou really might get punted into super short. I recon it might even be one of the big gambles of volume over the next few weeks. Can lulamba and OPS both make it to even money come the day?

Only chance Lulamba or OPS are evens on the day is if one or two of their big rivals in the market dont make it to the festival.

Only ones i can see going off Evens or below are Lossie in the mares, possibly Majborough in the champ chase if it was really soft/heavy.

Defo the most open festival in terms of lack of short priced faves and more open betting heats, its good to see. Your horrible fear of Favouri being backed into Evens sounds irrational. If you think/fear that will happen why not back him now at 5/1, lay off your stake on the day at evens and have a big free roll on him, fear conquered!
 
Whichever Mullins sends to the Ryanair should go very short. Assuming it's the only big name to sidestep the GC for the Ryanair.

I'd expect either to go off shorter than current NRNB prices...
