FJ Day Four Festival Yankee - manager ryan97

A few of the obvious ones. DDS, Death Duty, OTF. A range lf shouts in the County. The storyteller was put up and not had many shouts for the Grand Annual

I am hoping Tell Us More goes for the Grand Annual of his mark. 25's is massive! What's the chances?

Interesting LR. I hadn't realised he had an entry. I noticed he some money for him in the County hurdle so assumed they were going that way.

G.elliot say's county hurdle for Tell us more , L. Racing, read it on one of the fest sites

G Elliot has said that Storyteller wins the Martin Pipe. We've massively missed any price but would anybody object?

My only argument would be if Battleford got in the race, I expect him to overturn form at a better price.

I'm yet to look at the County or Martin Pipe but Starchitect in the Grand Annual looks solid if we're going for an each way yankee. Though I have heard suggestions he may be going for the Plate?

Defi du Seuil if we're going for a shortey

I think Starchitect is Plate bound jono

West Approach. 2nd season novice, form in open company... RPR of 157 .... highest RPR ever going in to the race? (Paul Kealy) Late developer?

His half brother Thistlecrack was a late bloomer too, kicking into gear when stepped up to 3 miles at Aintree when 7 years old.

(note in no way am I suggesting he'll be the next Thistlecrack :p)

Haha I nearly mentioned the half-brother thing but realised it could get taken the wrong way.

Wholestone might become my nap :highly_amused:

Would people like to start throwing up their 4 selections?

Would people like to start throwing up their 4 selections?

Not so much 4, but for the day, currently I am looking at the following:

Triumph - Bapaume
Foxhunters - On The Fringe
County - ??
AB - Wholestone/Augusta Kate
Gold Cup - Djakadam
M. Pipe - Battleford/Tin Soldier
G. Annual - Le Prezien/Velvet Maker

If we are going EW:

Mega Fortune - Triumph
West Approach - Albert Bartlett
Wonderful Charm - Foxhunters (think it could be GOOD ground by Friday)
Dandridge - Grand Annual

(If WIN ONLY - Defi Du Seuil, Death Duty, On The Fringe, Djakadam)

Dandridge is a horse that's been talked up this week, I have an appalling record in the race but I'd be happy throwing him in...

The Friday has potential for a very solid looking win only but also the potential for an e/w with the 3 handicaps aswell. Make your cases guys and ill decide

I agree with Ista, Dandridge would be my pick :encouragement:

I think i'll put dandridge in.

Do you think The Storyteller to short to back now?

Is it also worth waiting for the decs just incase a spanner gets thrown in?

Im gonna hold off til Sunday to put mine in i think
