I've lost 2U on such bets, that I have kept in my book for profit/loss but in reality I would have backed the bet that lost anyway.

Early season I essentially half my stake due to a)the reliance on free bets and b)I've not had the same level of cash after buying a house.

Looking to get Darasso into my book at 25/1 any race with Hills after the points made about the highest rated hurdlers consistenly battling out for the novice chasers.
 
Darasso isn't a novice over fences although that obviously doesn't matter for the any race market.
 
Archie, you’re right, I don’t know why I had it in my head he was totally misread the dates of his two wins.

William Hill allowed it, was as surprised as anyone when it gave the option for a double
 
I’ve had an ‘Any Festival Race’ selection in doubles this week, on three occasions, with another ante-post selection. With WillHill.

However it has been very in and out. Half the time it allowed it, and half the time it didn’t. So keep on persevering if you havent had any luck and you may get the double option showing.

You're not wrong! Just done Samcro (any race) & Paisley Park (Stayers double). First time it's ever allowed it. Done a couple of others before then that they would not allow!
 
I got an any race antepost Cheltenham bet in a double on the sports terminal in William Hill the other day which I was very surprised by but then sadly when I tried again it wouldn’t let me
 
It’s a glitch they allow the horses named I-Q and R-Z but it won’t allow the A-H section. I just hope we get paid out on them
 
Pp and bfsp allow me to include a any race selection in multiples not that you'd really want to use them as there any race prices are crap compared to hills
 
....knowing me, i’d do an ‘any race’ double and they’d end up running against each other!!

Enjoying the thread, things seem to be ramping up a little.

Min is the modern day Champagne Fever, gets thrown in unsuitable races to make way for others because of Ricci’s reluctance to pit his best horses against each other...

My take on it Billy is Hendo already pinpointed Champ for RSA after ballsing it up last year with him trip wise. Birchdale deffo going JLT as he blatantly didnt stay 3m so fingers crossed they send Dickie to NHC like they did with OK Corral last season.
 
You could be right TB. But it wasnt even on his mind, your going to need a JP intervention, which I accept could happen.
 
Unlike other owners, JP doesn’t seem to mind running his horses against one another. I’m on Dickie Diver to ‘win any race’ but I would imagine the RSA would be the target. I think Henderson rates Dickie Diver and as such I don’t think he’ll be sent down the NHC route unless the reduced distance puts a new perspective on things.
