Champion Hurdle 2018

How many more chances does Yanworth get to impress over fences before he's re-routed back over the smaller obstacles....

Probably 1 if he fell again. But I couldn't see him winning a stayers personally. I think 2m4 is his trip.

With Faugheen imminent return , looking at possible opposition he may face Sunday. Rich Ritchie comments about unfinished business in this race ( presumable meaning when Faugheen got beat by Nic Canyon) the world knows that The Machine is more forward than ever.

Last thing they want is a crawl and false pace , certainly wouldn't be ideal for Faugheen to front run on first run back with him bound to be bit fresh and keen.

I just wonder will they use Vroom Vroom as possible pace maker , makes sense to me looking at the wider picture.

Faugheen has been included in the Morgiana declarations, fingers crossed these next 2 days nothing negative happens!

What are we actually expecting from Faugheen and what will that do to his price?
Win in any fashion and he goes at least joint fav...

A win and he is fav is almost certain. You'd be brave to put any money on though for a couple of points.

NRNB was made for horses like this

Come on Vroum Vroum !! ,. . seriously though, it will be great to see the Machine run again today .
Be interesting to see his performance .

Big expectations from me. . But I expect him to have the oppositiom of the bridle a fair way out Iand win without question, i dont think townend will need to ask him to go to the well and open up. I can't have campeador and jezki getting within 6L of buveur dair in a champion
If / when this happens I will go in as deep as I can at 6s and pray he comes out of the race fine And wait for buveur
Dair to drift.

If he scrapes home/ lost I will do the same on buveur dair.

Iv already backed both at 8s and 4s
Melon ew 25/1 1/4 for the place money.

If he wins well I think he'll be best price 2/1 by the end of the day.

Quite possible Faugheen , You'd have to be very brave to steam in on 2- 1 though with 4 months still to go.
like kev just said , N.r.N.B the way to go,.

Yeah - I couldn't back him without the nrnb concession this side of Christmas. Not sure if anyone is offering NRNB at the moment. SkyBet him up at 4/1 Nrnb a few weeks ago but it lasted minutes.

Lasted long enough for me :triumphant:

Not me :,(

I’ve just put 2U on at 6/1, appreciate and agree about NRNB but had an American football win overnight and his price will crumble after today so I’m happy to take the risk. I’m not going to steam in on him at 4/9 so this is essentially my bet on him to win today.

At the end of the day if the machine doesn’t make it he has still earns me enough money that I won’t cry about 2U.

You into your NFL HF? If so, do you think the Rams can beat the spread at the Vikings? +2.5 is tempting me.

I think he goes sub 2/1 if he gets his head across first, then further south depending on how well

If he won by a ridden half a length you still think he'd be fav of this race?

I don't think he would be, but I also think he will win easier against this opposition.

Its hard to price up, I hope he wins as he should against this opposition and goes very short, buveur dair drifts.

But unfortunately horses seem to shorten without drifting out others these days.
