Breeder’s Cup

I'd imagine inspiral will be held up and they will try to use her turn of foot

Ability wise she's some way clear of the rest imo

Just not a horse I'd ever really trust

Exactly this FF, no way she she keeps pace with In Italian even if she wanted to… think Warm Heart being drawn next to In Italian is a negative as can see her being forced back and not being able to go the gallop… for me In Italian to make all and Inspiral trying to close her down on the line

Just can't get myself to warm to him, might be the fact I'm balls deep on AK

I always liked him in his juvenile year Zach and felt he never reached his potential… guess it’s whether the Whitney run was a one off? Good luck with AK, I’d certainly like to be on him must have missed the price and the race certainly couldn’t have worked out any better for you

I'm very much with Japan in the Breeders Cup Classic and backed Ushba Tesoro @ 11/2.

The faster the better for him, in my opinion, and I suspect there will be a fair bit of pace on in the race which will suit him, as he showed in the Dubai World Cup.

Possibly need luck in running, but should be the staying on horse at the very least and looked an obvious E/W bet.

Yep, I'm all in with Arabian Knight too but there is a possibility that he gets into a speed duel up front and gets cooked come the stretch then the stalkers like Ushba, WA or a longshot will be snapping at his heels. It could be a cracker!

Yeah im worried about that too, don't particularly want a repeat of what happened in the haskell where he was in a speed duel with an outsider then got ran down by mage and geaux rocket ride

Exactly that, but he has looked like a beast this week

Probably but for a horse who often takes a keen hold its risky over an unknown trip.

Burying her at the back will be the best way to get her to settle

A little bemused why she's not running in the mile race tbh

Picks for day 1:
Juvenile Turf Sprint - Big Evs
Juvenile Fillies - Tamara
Juvenile Fillies Turf - Porta Fortuna
Juvenile - Muth
Juvenile Turf - River Tiber

Good luck folks

Had a few bets as usual :highly_amused:
I'll not bore you with the reasoning but suffice to say I've backed the ones that look over priced.

Amidst Waves 16's and Valiant Force 25's
Just FYI 10's
Hard to Justify 12's
Carsons Run 12's

I reckon the form of all of these mean they really ought to be shorter priced, however I accept that in most cases this is draw related. There is not a massive draw bias but lower is often favoured from a positional sense at least.
I'm willing to back them on the basis that the jockeys ought to be experienced enough to get positions from wide draws and I don't think any of the picks are desperate to lead anyway. It's not like Jim Crowley's riding any of them :concern:
Each way for the lot 4 places.

I fancy one of George Weavers runners to turn Big Evs over tomorrow. He’s done nothing wrong but the American sprinters in their own back yard are just so good. Break so well, run the bends so well etc.

Could be a race for a tricast on the top 3 in the market :eagerness:

Tamara seems the banker tomorrow from what I’ve read. She’s in a couple doubles with runners on Saturday.

Big evs gate speed is unusually very good for a sprinter from over here if it wasn't I'd be all over crimson advocate

Best named horse ever?

running in the turf sprint

Gelding called nobals

I read somewhere that as JG knows the track so well he didn't want to gamble on a bad draw, risking losing the race before it even started. So opt for the soft 1m 2f

Aye you’re right there, even the Nunthorpe he was fairly quickly away. His other 3 runs at ascot goodwood and Doncaster he breaks the best of the field.

The problem he's gonna have is there's gonna be 3 or 4 other horses as fast or faster than him in the first 2 furlongs

I'd love him to win for a small trainer but I can see them running the legs off him early on

Was a massive pace collapse in this race last year, wouldn't be overly surprised if it happened again

She Feels Pretty about 5/1 atm Juvenile Fillies Turf

Won on debut at 5 1/2 F then won a G1 mile in only her second start. Don't like her draw much but think she should only improve again today.

Yes I wanted to take on the British and Irish horses

Carla's way won a very funny race last time, for me shuwari was much the best horse in that race.

Porta fortuna is going up to a mile and didn't run her best over 7f so can't have her at all. She's a 6f filly.

I came down on she feels pretty and buchu (who on the footage I saw has a lovely turn of foot)

Yeah why not FF, they're all tough races and the odds are big enough to have a couple of chances/savers in each race.

Some waffle on Twitter about River Tiber and Tamara being out. Taking it with a pinch of salt unless someone knows something.
