Where is that related Bapaume double chaps? Arkle and Irish Arkle, which bookie?
Paddy Power had it in their specials. Seem to have taken them down, instead only having across the card doubles for DRF.
Would assume it'll come back on though at some stage.
William Hill also have a select few. Nothing like the prices of last year mind
I’m of the view that the jockey bookings in the Irish Arkle tomorrow are skewing the market considerably. We know Ricci is not averse to having jockeys other than Townend on his horses (PW Mullins on Sharjah etc) and is a real fan of Robbie Power using him on a number of occasions when available. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Melon is 3rd best of the Mullins horses tomorrow.
With that being said I think Cash Back is much too big at 7/1 after his performance last time also remembering that Danny struggled to pull him up at the line. Will be backing him tomorrow and topping up my arkle position accordingly
Just to add to the Ricci comment, Patrick retains the ride on Faugheen. So I’m not convinced Townend is the best jock in Ricci’s eyesI’m of the view that the jockey bookings in the Irish Arkle tomorrow are skewing the market considerably. Brewinupastorm straight to Cheltenham now instead of going for the Kingmaker next week
Can't be many Arkle winners on their second start over fences?
Big negative in my opinion.
Id of thought Townsend would of had the choice though and I would see it as a positive for Melon, even if though there seems to be the usual market overreaction
Think Danny was always going to ride Cash Back too.
