Arkle 2020

Yep - Patrick said Cash Back and Bapaume the likely two for the Arkle with melon being stepped up. Was particularly impressed with Cash Back

I think he said they were the two for the Irish Arkle, I may have miss heard though.

Annamix in a beginners Chase tomorrow

Who’s ready to tear their hair out when he wins 18 lengths on the bridle

The plan is to run Brewinupastorm in the Kingmaker and then Arkle according to OM

Annamix impressive there.

Not much of a surprise tbh, was always going to make a chaser being by Martaline. He was my dark horse (on the forum somewhere) to follow yet I left him unbacked which is very annoying, as it's now two years running I've done that with different horses!

See fakir’s been drifting on the exchanges over past fortnight, and now paddy’s and betfair push him out. Is he going Marsh novices?. What’s the feeling? I’ve had a couple of great pointers on this forum with notebook and cash back, but I’ve also had an interest in fakir for the arkle

Nothing will be decided until the week before fez with Arkle/JLT participants.

Brewinupastorm’ performances can be upgraded as OMs stable was under a cloud when he was winning and firing in the odd winner now

Joe Chambers (racing manager for Rich Ritchie) " Willie always said he was a Tuesday horse" with regards Annamix

I haven’t seen Annamix’s win from yesterday yet. Was it good enough that he could be Arkle bound? I would assume they would target a graded race over a handicap, if possible.

Just watched the race just now, did it well enough and wasn’t stopping at the line either.

Strange race they were strung out like a maiden hurdle before they even jumped the first fence, think the closest anyone was to the Mullins pair was 3/4 lengths over the first fence.

Another one to add to the bingo potentially.

Hills can still get 36/1 boosted, but no cash out of course

It's an absolute minefield this race. And one I normally have an extremely good grasp on (bar cilaos Emery/ chacunPS Both not making it). But i havent a clue atm.

I'd be edging melon despite all the various chatter chatter.

But Probably best to leave well alone, let them sort themselves out and then go in with whatever angle you see. As horses are beaten and injures rule others out.
It's been my personal decision from a long way out, as you can do your absolute bollocks on this and the JLT trying to chase what will be the fav.

In Mullins’ RP article yesterday he stated Tornado Flyer was found to have had a lung infection following his last run, which at least explains his performance. I’m not convinced he’s quite good enough for this and they’ve hinted they will go up in distance.
