Albert Bartlett 2020

Think I’ll have a bit of that as well, was quite impressed with the run.
 
Definitely has, given the quite expensive purchase from p2p. Possibly because he’s not with the big 4 trainers? Really liked the performance, the ground looked really testing at Exeter. Albert Bartlett is a proper test, usually takes a tough horse to make the frame with plenty runs under their belt. Last year a bit against that I suppose.
 
Have had a small eachway investment in Blue Sari for this at 33/1. So many of Willie's end up here and if he bolts in over 2m4 tomorrow he will surely shorten - even though WPM will no doubt say he wouldn't be afraid to drop him back in trip! Part of the thinking is also that he's always been regarded as being a potentially strong stayer and JP and Willie will probably have several options for the shorter races. Not a race I would normally look to get involved with at such an early stage but just have the feeling I may regret not doing so.
 
So cant see Blue Sari coming here. BUT now having 2nd thoughts about it.
 
I wouldn’t be shocked to see him turn up here depending on how Mullins other touted novices perform

Backed Lair Du Vent AP for today's Ballymore race at Cheltenham. Race carried forward to tomorrow. How do I stand with bet? I still think he'll piss it!

Why would jon snow go ballymore?

Im assuming your unnecessarily trying to split up 2 milers because they're in the same colours.
What about getabird/ sharjah.

Before he goes anywhere he needs to back up the positive mentions, he has very basic flat form, going into a real test. Om form alone I'd expect him to get beat. Obviously hope otherwise

I dont neccessrarily expect him to be beaten, I really hope he isn't as obviously hes had some strong comments against his name.

But on form alone, jon snow shouldn't be winning at the weekend

Interesting. Thought you meant Blue Sari. Regarding JS, I take it that any improvement WPM may have made to him would give him a good chance. They've been patient with him. As for distance, he's surely a 2 miler. I think a lot of these Ricci horses are bought with the Supreme in mind.

Just the way I potentially see it panning out, Jon Snow held an entry over 2m4 this weekend as well. JP has Andy Dufrense for the Ballymore as well so the point was more that there are a few reasons why Blue Sari could end up here. Could obviously be way off and Blue Sari ends up the supreme horse

JS was keen enough over 1m4 on the flat, couldn't see anything but 2 miles over hurdles.
Fly smart is a strong traveller also.

These alot of water under the bridge to go, jp's other horses are deffinately not being worked around andy dufresne. His time was very slow, and hes done little so far. But When he steps up, we will see how good he is, and where he fits in the pecking order of JP's
 
Looking forward to seeing Thyme Hill again tomorrow. 2m5f going to be a right old slog and should he win well I will be topping up at 25/1 as he crosses the line.

I've a bet on JS too, but as you say + as i said over on another thread Uhtred's form in bumpers is decent. I wouldn't rule him out at all- god knows where he'll run tho if making a festival.

Agreed,
I think you have to respect texard too, mainly for the fact he has a royal bond entry, he has prior hurdles experience in france, the form stacks up to little. But the likes of Eldorado allen.... have been unexposed and put it to good use.
