Was a strange one but he’s not going to win a Ballymore regardless.
 
Anyone know why someone would put up £65 @ 17 available for us to bet on Fury Road on BFX today? It’s still there, after a similar price was taken earlier on.

Just checking if there had been any news, or drift. I can’t see any, maybe just some stray pricing.

UPDATE: That was taken within 5 minutes of my post. hope it was a Fat Jockey. :encouragement:

That my brother trying to free up some money to bet on golf, nothing wrong with Fury Road as far as i'm aware. Fury Road 8s 9s & 10s with the bookies so fill your boots :)

Hopefully someone who's gone off him. I have myself tbh, I don't think hes a dour stayer. More like this year's allaho. I could see him being useful dropping in trip.
Maybe im wrong. Hope so as wont be cashing.

I wasn’t interested in topping up my position, even at close to double the current market fixed odds. Not sure that’s a full thumbs up from me, either, regarding my current thoughts on the horse c/w the others I have backed.
 
thanks for the welcome, not sure if your reply was a joke that went over my head because i am a novice with regards to horse racing. I just like to bet on sports and often read this forum for cheltenham tips. Was just responding to with information to the above question. Good luck everyone bashing them bookies !

Thanks buddy, and no unfortunately I have no inside information !
Apart from he got Fury Road @ 20/1 a while back so was trying to trade some off but no one was taking the bet.
 
He wouldn’t have beaten much there but The Big Getaway is HUGE. Jumped really well at a decent pace and he must be coming here. Should have a chance and that stride will devour three miles.

I know JackieMoon and Scooby are also in his fan club.


A few of us on at 33s any race?

They pushed him out in the betting after that error last time so maybe some more people got on then too.




Ruby suggesting he might not have enough runs for an Albert Bartlett and a front running ride in the Ballymore may suit.... but he's be one that would be going on the boat...

He’d be a sitting duck in the Ballymore in my opinion. Although any race guarantees a run for your money, I’d rather just go for the race I think he’d have a chance in. Ruby knows way more then me though :highly_amused:

I'd prefer the Albert Bartlett too.

They put Next Destination in the wrong race though, too :(

That will be his distance in two years time. Absolutely no idea if he’ll be that good though but you’d imagine fences will bring about improvement.

Yeah. The owner looks to have a really nice hand for novice chasing next season too.
