2026 Novice Hurdlers

Navan Novice Hurdle looks a deep renewal on Saturday. Surprised Jack has picked Kovanis over Classical Creek.

Yes, that is a surprising choice. Just theorising but Classical, Kovanis and Kalypso are entered for Gordon in the 3 miler at Cork on Sunday.

Would seem a strange race for Kalypso. Potential for Classical to be his horse for this race (with Jack on board), thus meaning he’ll be pulled, as per Elliot’s recent MO, on Saturday..

He'll fucking pull one anyway, he does it every week and no one says a thing.

No Drama This End declared for Friday over the mid trip. Not sure if this is good or bad for a Challow spot. Maybe he is swerving it. I hope he does. Get to the turners unbeaten and not knowing how good he is if he is headed to the festival. Harry Lowes out tomorrow. Let Sober Glory and Starzand battle it out for the rest of the Brits if Hobbs runs them against each other to see which is the Bartlett horse.

Well that's how I want it to play out anyway
Travelled well enough, didn’t hurdle fluently, which I think cost him in the end.

Made a race ending mistake at 2 out although not sure he would have won without that mistake anyway, had plenty time to organise himself to the last, didn’t find much. Winner was carrying the same weight and seemed to find more under pressure.

Mistake maybe took more out of him as he did lose quite a bit of momentum but winner far more impressive imo.

Harry Lowes looked like he was coming to win the race but found very little after the last. I don't think the Irish battalions are going to lose too much sleep over him at the Festival.

….Hills push Harry Lowes out 50-1 for both Sup & Turn.

….and TheDeviluno entered, highlighted by a few on here.

Should be a decent enough price on Saturday to have a play.
Hills opened 12-1 now 11-1.
Thats at least double the price I had it down as.
Taking into account i think Elliott will pull one of his on the morning.

I took the 11/1, wouldn’t be surprised to see him go off half that aswell. He’ll need to sharpen up his jumping at this level though, hopefully Nolan’s been doing plenty of schoolwork.

I'm hoping for everyone that Port Authority is the one you think will be Pulled

I know he's moved out of Willie's yard, which tempers enthusiasm somewhat, but has anyone heard anything about Kaiser Ball?

Still waiting on an entry, I've not seen any as of yet.
