2024 Cheltenham - the odds on offer.

Would be 3 bullets with Vautour as well, who youd assume will have ago now a 6 year old

They'll change there minds once they do a bit of schooling with impaire et passe and he soars over them like pegasus

I'd be very dissapointed if he doesn't go chasing

The NH game is all about the chasers for me and the earlier they go chasing the better

Sounded very much like they are going down the Flat route with him.

….Gala Marceau impressive in France, into 14-1 Mares Hurdle.

Yeah she was, always thought the step up would suit her, there’s an argument 14/1 is still a backable price…

Would her age put you off? Just the one 5yo winner

French 5yo are so much further forward than UK/IRE bred 5yo it doesn’t worry me at all, she’ll have had more races and jumped more hurdles at home than just about every 6yo bred this side of the Channel and most 7yo horses too.
I’ve said many times in here, they’re jumping brush hurdles as 2yo in France, they’ll be gone by 9yo but well ahead of ours at 4 and 5…

Yeah good point re French breds. Still needs a stone improvement but very possible. Interesting how Mullins 3 juvenile fillies from the Triumph are programmed next season.

All 3 will be mares hurdle candidates for the upcoming season, then the season after, Willie talked about Lossie maybe making the jump to be a champion hurdler.

Yep, interesting to see which races they go for, whether they are split and if one or two take in the better Mares races in England.

….Gala Marceau quotes;

W Mullins; ‘The Mare was a revelation. She’s been improving all season. I said to Danny, just get her settled & get her coming home. Once he got her settled he just counted down the furlongs and when she took over, the race was over.’

Danny Mullins; ‘She jumped very well down the back which enabled me to save a bit for the home turn. She hit the line very strong, she wasn’t stopping’.

Clipped in further overnight for Mares Hurdle with some firms but still 14-1 with PP/BFSB.

Generally speaking, not feeling wildly enticed by the sky RABs this season but don’t mind the look of this one:

El Fab - champion chase
GDC - Gold cup
Ballyburn - any race
Impaire et Passe - any race

125/1
