The nature of PtPs is that they cater for stores on their way to racing under rules. As such, a PtP mare is unlikely to be sharp enough for the MNH and most of the successful 2m mares will have come from France with earlier racing experience. Of course, Honeysuckle might have changed that stat if she'd gone in 2019.
Do you think that's changing at all? The only French bred in the top 5 this year (Halka Du Tabert) was also the only PTP graduate. The other 4 were all British or Irish bred. Also, the recent runnings have seemed to favour a horse who stays further.
