The odds on El Fabiolo say you are very,very likely to be right but I couldn't resist the big odds offered about her and I'm more than happy to take the risk with small stakes win and EW that she takes her chance in the CC as opposed to backing her at short odds to win over a distance she's never encountered before over fences. It was an easy decision to make on my part.

Well that was as emphatic as I thought it would be.
He could rattle off a few QMums looking at how he’s grown this season and improved his jumping.

Im a big fan and backer of Jonbon as most on here know!!
All I can hope and ask for is he turns up and produces his best performance possible and helps give us a race to savour.
But I suspect even his best won’t bother this chap!!
 
Brilliant from El Fabiolo in what was a proper race. He looks bomb proof . Dinoblue ran really well in 2nd and will probably go Mares Chase . Still unsure about her staying 2 1/2 though.

Fry star Game Spirit favourite


Boothill is currently edging out Edwardstone for favouritism in the Betfair Game Spirit Chase on the same card.

Harry Fry's charge is the sponsors' 6/4 market leader with Edwardstone 2/1 as both look to bounce back to form. The former fell when bidding to complete a hat-trick for the season at Kempton over Christmas, while Alan King's charge was far too keen stepped up to two-and-a-half miles in the Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase at the same track last month.

Last year's winner Funambule Sivola (4/1), Editeur Du Gite (5/1), Calico (10/1) and Amarillo Sky (14/1) are the other entries.

Yes, she ran a great race. I was in the stands by the winning post - kept an eye on Dinoblue going through the line, we all commented that it appeared that Walsh had a bit of a job to pull her up as she went a decent distance after the line, visually she gave us the impression that she will stay 2m4f.

Agree. Hopefully something will emerge from the race with real credit. Whilst El Fabiolo looks home and hosed, we still need a few others turning up. Can't have a walkover situation!

Of the runners in the Game Spirit, Boothill for me is the one that could step forward and could place in a Champion Chase that might well have just 4/5 runners this year.
