If ever a horse was made for NRNB it's FH. With that concession it makes sense.

No. He's a hold up horse. Decent 33/1 EW bet coming off the pace in what could be a 5/6 runner field.

10 quid each way at 33/1 would pay 76 pounds .... so 20 quid to win 76 ...... 7/2 (just over)

Just a gentle reminder to you Kev and everyone else re how backing favourites at the Fez went last year.

Day one was Glorious Tuesday for the punters with 5 well backed Favs winning out of 7. Punters were dancing in the streets. FJ boys were shouting their points profits running totals from the rooftops But then disaster struck.................


Just 4 more Favs were to win over the next 3 days. 17 losing Favs including ALL 7 Favs on bloodbath Thursday when AP 'Bankers' Mighty Potter in the Turners, Shishkin in the Ryanair, Luccia in the MNH and Teahupoo in the Stayers all ran way below expectations and filled the bookies bags to the brim.

Favs don't always win. The horrible bookies have a gift of getting the Bankers beat.

Don't go thinking this year will be anything different.

I get your point about not all favourites winning and last year's stats do make for interesting reading but... Jonbon and El Fabiola are about as reliable as it gets. 21 starts in GB and Ireland between them and neither has ever finished worse than 2nd.

You're essentially playing for one place. (Edited out) 11/4 for Boothill in a race to beat Captain Guinness, Edwardstone, Ferny Hollow, Dinoblue (hopefully not) and maybe one or two others. How you pricing the mythical race up? That'll be a market on the day for sure, if it's not already!

Fair play. GL to you to. Was just a suggestion you may be better waiting for a without the top two market.

Checked, definitely decided to cover everything in behind in case one got injured and then cash out closer to the time :highly_amused: Dinoblue and Boothill sat nicely at 33/1
