2023 Novice Hurdlers

"Over the past few years I haven't seen a horse that I'm looking forward to as much as Facile Vega," said Mullins.
"With the turn of foot he showed in bumpers he'd be a Supreme horse, and with his pedigree he could turn out to be a Ballymore horse. His jumping is very good. Like his mother [Quevega], he's a natural."

Good old Willie , Giving nothing away..... Let the Bingo continue .... :dog:. :highly_amused:.

….looks like James Gate will miss the season according to Mullins stable tour (see stable tour thread).

Redemption Day....

'He picked up a tendon injury in the Champion Bumper at Punchestown last season and he won’t be running this season.'

So he's known for 6 months and not a word. Disgrace. Those that have backed him, write to Willie for a refund. Couldn't give two shits about punters.

Facile Vega shortening across the board for the Supreme to 2/1 generally and drifting out to 4/1 for the Ballymore with Betfair and PP

Mullins gonna Mullins. Great if you get his horses right, but he's no friend of the punter. Just look at how much of a walk horses take on the exchange before he rules them out.

And to make things worse, PP/BF cut Redemption Day for the Supreme right before the stable tour... not a surprise, but still.

Anyone get any opinion/ news on Persian Time? NH suggests will go straight hurdling. Adrian Heskin suggested he was exciting in Jumpers to Follow. Not seen priced up anywhere. Requested price off 365 but unable to give me one

No news but can link his form to Between Waters and have an idea where he could stand in pecking order at NH.
PT Was 2nd to Peaky Boy in his P2P who was recently well beaten by Realisation last time out, again Realisation was put away very easily by BW in their P2P.

Not a whole lot to go off for now, I did have some interest in PT myself but think il hold off for the time being and wait and see first time out.

Three Card Brag beating Sandor Clegane at Galway over 2m. He's supposedly well thought of and all the right horses in the first 4.

Will have to watch later but are people happy with the performance of Sandor Clegane with an eye on the Albert Bartlett?

Joe Dadancer weakened very very quickly there.

Although you would have to wait and see on the comments afterwards, I'd say the Albert Bartlett was the only option that horse has after that run. Looks to be an out and out stayer IMO, I took the 66s for the AB hopefully next run out will see him stepped up in trip.

Having watched it, if he met Three Card Brag again over a longer trip, I'd still fancy Three Card Brag to confirm superiority. They have said they want to keep him to softer ground so probably not one for Cheltenham antepost
Path D'Oroux won easily enough after and may go to the Royal Bond.

A proper mares maiden tomorrow with Deeply Superficial, Law Ella and Battling Bessie going against eachother, an impressive win for any of the three would put them right at the top of the market for the Mares Novice.
