2027 The Prices on Offer

I've only backed one horse antepost so far for next years festival.
And I won't be backing this one either.
But the full brother to Gaelic Warrior won his bumper well today, conceding weight to most of the rest and looked to have a good heart.
Sparkling Wit, available at 66-1 for the turners.

Unibet taking no chances with boley Bob for the festival Hunter Chase ahead of his run today. 12/1,seem to be the only ones to price it up. Not on Twitter myself if someone could request a win today/festival double

What price is he today??

4/9 best price!
Trainer mentioned his target as being the big Hunter Chase at Stratford in a few weeks time so probably best to see how he does today and wait for that one.

I can understand the interest given the trainers comments at Aintree but he was made to work for his last win and those behind look average animals, the second and third both take him on again today.
12/1 is a horrible price but not quite as horrible as the 2/1 for Barton Snow to defend his crown, even allowing for 47 weeks of good health and form that's a dire effort from Unibet and in any case they surely won't run against each other....

Update on the 2027 Hunter Chase:
Boley Bob cut to 7/1 after hacking up at Ludlow today.
So the market has Barton Snow 2/1, Boley Bob 7/1 and Itsontheline 7/1. in fact the combined percentage of all runners they quote comes to 196%.
This is a race taking place in 47 weeks time therefore the market is ante post terms, all non runners are losing bets.
196%.
Absolute clowns....

Trainer only went for Cheltenham Hunter Chase with Barton because owners insisted. He didn't think he'd stay and he was ridden like a non stayer. Whilst he won, on deeper ground perhaps he'd have struggled to last home. It'll be interesting how they campaign him next year especially now that they have Boley Bob as a potential substitute.

Boley Bob is a 6yo, why would you want to keep him to PTP/Hunters when, if the hype is correct, he is likely to be a 150 chaser next season meaning there are plenty of pots up for grabs in the pro ranks...

Agree. Perhaps he'll end up a big money purchase ?? I'd take a swing at the pro ranks with Barton as well. Go for it !

Barton Snow is 3 years older, by the time the season gets going he’ll be rising 10, I doubt they’ll look at a rules career given as soon as you run in class 2 race or higher you lose your hunters licence and given how he’s won his races this year he could dominate the division for a year or two.
The new kid on the block on the other hand has plenty of time, see how high in the ranks he could get and then revert back to hunters after the qualification period if that’s what they choose…

We all know emotional post race comments should be taken with a pinch of salt but Joe apparently said Boley Bob will win the Cheltenham Festival Hunter Chase next season and he thinks Henry would choose him over Barton Snow. He heads to Stratford next for the Restricted Final on Hunter Chase night…

Won't see either in anything but hunter chases next season, he's in it for the fun.
There aren't enough big races for them to be separated so if that's the case he's almost forced to run them against each other, is that how you see it ?

No idea if he'll do that, but a girl who worked/works for him occasionally works with the missus, she said he's no notion of taking out a licence after the aintree race so only basing what I said on that, I'll get the missus to ask her again when she's back at work, on a bit of a hiatus here atm (y)

Crystal Island could be a nice BANC sort for Hendo. Looks a quality horse, must have been injured since his run at Ascot on debut.

King rasko Grey - arkle 25-1
Just thought it was worth a punt at that price as if confirmed chasing I doubt he goes near the longer trips for a while.
And would immediately be single figures, and Mullins best shot for the arkle, as it stands right now.
