National Hunt Chase (4 miler) 2019

"Ok Corral made a winning Chase debut at Plumpton on Monday and we’ll probably try and find another similar race to give him more experience but he has come out of the race in great form and I think he could be ideal for something like the 4 mile National Hunt Chase at the Festival"
NJH

Does JP McManus have anything for the RSA? I’m interesteted in OK Corral for the NH Chase but could he be their RSA horse instead as I can’t see a runner in that race for JP.

Jerrysback perhaps?

At the moment I would say the JP horses would fall into these groups:

Graded: Le Richebourg, DDS, OK Corral
Handicappers: Glenloe, Jerrysback, Tower Bridge

One of the handicappers could progress into a Graded horse to fill the RSA gap but, with Glenloe not making his debut yet and Tower Bridge being beaten twice, that only really leaves Jerrysback.

Shady Operator is interesting in the first at Punch today. Has some good back form with the likes of Sharjah and if he improves for the step up to 3 miles it could put him in the mix.

Ballyward
Running today over fences for the first time. An eye-catching staying on 4th in the Albert Bartlet, followed by a similar run in at the Punchestown Festival. Ballyward fits the profile of a NHC horse to me.
Ive taken some 33/1 with 365 and hoping for a good run today.

Ditto MS.
Ive backed SO today who's in the same race as Ballyward :highly_amused:

Glenloe maybe better than handicapper but otherwise I’d say you have it.

Any chance of Le Richebourg going to the R.s.a ??, Form ties in with Delta work this season.

He's an arkle horse was out stayed by delta work over 2 1/2 And just won the best arkle trial.

“The obvious thing to do would be to come back here for the Dublin Racing Festival. More than likely he’s an Arkle horse.”

Given connections, there's every chance that Le Richebourg is being lined up for a coup in the big handicap hurdle at Listowel next summer.

MORTAL
2nd to Delta Work in the leopardstown grade1 3 mile chase.
Ran an excellent race albeit mistake at the last cost him pushing DW to the line.
Trainer has long thought this well-bred gelding would develop into a smart staying chaser. Every chance he will step up considerably on what he achieved at Fairyhouse.
Ive already backed him for this but O'Brien might think he's an RSA horse??
Definitely thinks he's Giggi's best bet in this race if it runs here.

I like him.
Only matters what oleary thinks nearer the time. I wouldn't like to guess.

+1
Fairly confident that he's miles better than Blow By Blow but Giggi Bingo is almost as deadly as Mullins Bingo.

Are there any any race prices for him?

It was am eye catching run I agree
