Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    • I think the horse gets a lot of unfair stick. He's clearly got his own ideas about the game, but he certainly isn't a dog.

Only beaten twice in his novice season... once behind Envoi Allen in the Royal Bond, which was quite possibly the best piece of novice hurdle form in Ireland last year, and then when going down a nose in the Supreme behind Shiskin. Which is absolutely top class form. I also don't think that was Davy's finest ride in the Supreme myself, and the horse fought back bravely once headed, showing a very willing attitude.

The only disappointing run he has had over hurdles was seasonal debut this time around. Even last weekend, the race clearly wasn't run to suit yet he won. I think he wants a fast run 2m and very rarely gets it. I think he just idles in front myself.

      • If you like Main Fact back him in the fighting Fifth Lobos. If he's all that you can then play the winnings up to the Champion Hurdle. He'll likely get smashed by Epatante at Newcastle and end up in the County though.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

        • Incidentally Aiden Coleman will ride Epatante in the Fighting Fifthy, not Nico or Jonjo Jnr.

              That is interesting.
Presumably Hendo has some serious bullets to fire at Newbury, and you would have though the Hennessy.
Beware the Bear ? Ran well in the race last year and was reported to have worked well in his racecourse gallop today...

Big pointer than JP may well have a retained UK jockey if that's the case?

Yep, BTB worked all over Santini. Hendos only horse in Ladbroke. Plus he'll ride Marie's Rock in Gerry Fielden.

Thought Coleman had just become Olly Murphy's stable jock?

Yep. Picked up ride as Nico riding several fancied Hendo horses at Newbury Henn meeting.

Yes, although jocks often have agreements to ride other horses or for specific owners when they enter into these contracts.
Coleman rode Epatante in last years Fighting Fifth, maybe Hendo/JP happy with how he gets on with the horse and want continuity...

Main Fact is entered in the grade 3 handicap over 3 miles at haydock on saturday.

                            Ah fair enough.

Thought they may be more to it but that makes sense.

Still, if JP comes knocking, not a lot Olly Murphy can do to stop it

Yep, I'd imagine he'll take that entry up as well. Has won over 2 miles in Heavy on the flat so he should be able to stretch out that far. Massive improver. Reminds me of his Dad's Make A Stand who improved from selling race to Champion Hurdle winner in a season.

Aiden would have been my 1st pick, hope he retains that ride for the fez
