Summer campaign won't hurt at all . Experience at tracks is all good. Win tomorrow then rest up and bring her out for an early Hurdling campaign.
BOH where on PP do you see the 6 winner at 40s bet? Please can you let me know. Thanks

You are most welcome @Tickety Boo

It’s fun to follow the race diary threads through the season in Ireland

Now the RPR Diary is there then we have that to compare the British horses too.

The Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott take me a long time to update, and amend each summer, but I learn a lot about their race planning for certain races as I run through each race which does lead me to a few summer bets, if the prices are any good,
Hey Envoi , would you have the 6 day for the Coral Cup, like what you posted in Boodles / Ulima?

Still plenty in there, hope your winner is though :)
Not for public circulation Q but I have come across a couple of useful contacts close to Hendo and the Donnelly's in recent months, below is extract from an email I was sent about 10 days ago but please don't share:

As things stand the golden rule will be not to run any D horse against another one.
Hence, assuming they all stay fit -
Gaillard Du Mesnil - National Hunt Chase
Ramillies - Browns Advisory (but could transfer if anything happens to GDM)
Shishkin - Ryanair
City Chief - National Hunt Chase (but unlikely to run unless anything happens to GDM, the theory being he needs a flat track and will be kept for Aintree)
State Man - Champion Hurdle
Haut En Couleurs - Plate (first option) / Coral Cup (if reverting to hurdles)
Asterion Forlonge - Stayers Hurdle (if at all)
Brandy Love - Coral Cup / Mares Hurdle (could go for either but CC more likely currently if Honeysuckle, Marie’s Rock & Love Envoi all run,

The Coral Cup was very much on their radar and still is, if MAries Rock heads to the Stayers I suspect it still is, if Honeysuckle or Love Envoi get pulled it is much less likely...

Thanks for this Ista, most of it makes sense, but I do not believe the Brandy Love part. She;s a grade one mare and only aged 7 and willie will only have one thing in mind. And the Donnelly's have no other mare in contention. She'd need to run to at least 157 to even break par in the coral cup, which is probably good enough to win the mares.
Hi Dandrew, sorry to bother you, sure you've been mithered to death with the comp! Thanks alot for sorting, always great fun. Having seen Epatante not entered for the Mares Hurdle (which was certainly a big surprise to me!) please can I change my selection in that race to Maries Rock... Thanks very much.
Hi, Thanks very much for running the tipping competition.
I'd like to choose Hubrisko for the county and music drive for the martin pipe, I can't see them on the lists.
could you add them to the list please.

cheers Aaron

Hi mate, no problem at all. Both of these are now added, will need to get them priced up somewhere for the bonus points though. Cheers, Dan
Hi MoM

Just a quick line to share my own experience on here
Since the forum expanded it has unfortunately inherited a few antagonistic fools
I had a similar experience a few years ago and got a few messages from the good ones on here so hope this helps
Don’t let them win ,we have a great forum on here, just block them and freeze them out
I have enjoyed your educated posts on here and look forward to many more
Take care

Thankyou mate - that’s very kind of you. I’ve been around on here now for maybe 7 ish years with the FJ yankees pretty well known by now. Only been back posting on the individual race threads a couple of days and it just seemed as though I was being prodded a little bit by a few. Thanks for the message - at least makes me realise I’m not just paranoid that they do this haha.

All the best,
George
Hi NR. Thanks for your hard work on the 'Cheltenham Meets' thread - always an enjoyable read. Just in case you didn't read the Greatwood post-race comments, Alan King says that Harbour Lake would benefit from a step up in trip and they would work back from The Coral Cup. His current handicap mark would mean he would probably sneak in at the bottom of the weights give or take a pound or two.
Keep up the good work mate - it's appreciated.

Brilliant, I had not seen that so thanks for sharing, always good to have a few ideas in mind for the new year when handicaps come round and he is certainly off an attractive mark if they can manage it well!
I'm part way through reading your brilliant preview of the Cheltenham November meeting NR - thanks very much for putting in the time and effort and posting it. One stat you may or may not know regarding the Paddy Power Chase is the success of horses that have contested Grade 1 races previously. No fewer than 15 winners this century have run in a grade 1 race and 4 of the past 13 winners have won a grade 1. Obviously the past is no guide to the future but probably worth bearing in mind maybe? I'll carry on reading now. Thanks again :encouragement:

I hadn't seen that stat before but I guess it makes sense with the sort of horses that go there. Thanks for sharing it! It's interesting that those going on to Grade 1 from this Saturdays race have as strong as record as they do, it seems to translate both ways before and after the November Gold Cup!

Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoy it! It's the sort of thing I do myself anyway so thought I may aswell share it and see if others can get some use!
hi mate, send me your address and i'll get it posted.

So I said I'd give people a look at the diary I use and potentially open it up to a few people if they'd find it useful. Just drop me a PM or a note in here if you want to have a go with it and I'll get you one set up

Yes please Dan, provided you don't mind me keep asking for help !!

Well done on making profit this year.

i went into profit on Day 4 when Vauban and Allaho won. i made very good profit with a treble placed in October on Energumene, Allaho and Elimay so ended very nicely :cheerful:
