Percy 6-1 vs Min 8/11

Not totally ruling the rest out, but....

6-1 in a match is pretty decent value.
With Kelly bound to want to make a point.

5pts on nose.

I’m so annoyed I never backed Native River today, I got sucked into the Might Bite revival, Native River was really good even if he had no opposition for most of the race.

Some great shooting today Quevega!

What was a kick in the stones for me was McNallys big gamble horse Impressive Duke beat other day, then he gets a 33/1 winner with The jam man today against Tout est Permis!

Great betting Q, it was an obvious good value double on reflection. I Defi as my banker in most accumulators but never backed NR as there was only 4 runners, what a doughnut

Hard to know what to make of Native Rivers performance as his 2 rivals were clearly being ridden for future handicaps and had no intention of trying to even get involved.
Native River jumped pretty well under no pressure at all and looked well though. Impossible to guage how much ability remains from that race if it can even be classed a race.

REAL STEEL ew 15/2

Won running away quite impressovely 1st time up this season in a grade 2. Likely to be a big improver this season and become gold cup class.
Unbeaten over fences at Punchestown after an impressive win off top weight off 151 in a decent novice handicap here.
If Min wasnt in the race I would have him as clear favourite. Min will be tough to beat but Real Steel is a real up and comer who looks destined for the top and it should be close. Real Steel has a fitness edge on Min and could quite possibly turn him over.

I dont like any of the front 3 in the betting for the Peterborough Chase and have taken them on with win bets the 3 outsiders. Charbel at 13.0 won this rsce nicely last year. Was in form coming in to it which he isnt this time but not impossible he could return back to life today. Born Survivor at 17.0 needs to improve but may well do and has a better chance than his odds suggest. Kauto Riko at 180.0 a big outsider but progressive last year. Needs to step up but may well do and shouldnt be that price.

Davy Russell not riding.

May drift further yet! :p

5 places 11/2 with 365 is fair enough :triumphant:

9/1 with WH - now that is silly :highly_amused:

Pulled up likliest outcome for Pressnting Percy. If he completes the course then he has done well.

Fully expect Min to win well here. Hard to know if the drift on PP is DR related.

Min's to lose for sure. Was already on him but cannot help taking the 5 places for Percy just hoping he does show up well.

Not a big betting race though, hopefully an informative one for the festival.

10-1 is a mad price.

Both ran well

I can't believe Winsdor Avenue is 6/4 joint fav with Sam Spinner over 2m4f on Saturday at Doncaster 2:10.

This trip is too short for Sam Spinner by half a mile at least, Windsor Avenue is going to wallop him.

Looks a match anyway so 6/4 is fair but he's got more than a 50% chance of beating Sam Spinner. I like Sam Spinner, but he's going to lose on Saturday.
