Triumph Hurdle 2019

I agree 33/1 ew is still a decent bet if you can forgive his last run. I wouldn't knock anyone for putting up a bet they're horses they make us all look stupid at times.

My way has no where near the form of pic d'orhy.
However like klassical dream, he had good consistent juvenile form, although couldn't get his head in front in France. He's been chasing, Hes stepping up from juvenile company to novice company over hurdles and unfortunately hasn't found his form. I'm sure they'll be looking into why..
You'd have to ask the McNeil family on Twitter if anything has been found or not.

Paul's 2nd string quel destin is a good solid horse who'll give you everything and is very hard to beat in a dog fight.

Yes initially but his form since then isn't anything special imo.
So I'm happy to get him beat.

My initial look at the start of every year. I want prior experiance over hurdles in france. Just personal preference.
. Sir erec is a good horse. A very good flat horse. He's just not one for me in this race or who i think will win at the test on the day.
 
If Sir Eric gets a bit low over one and scapes his nads on one of the hurdles he’ll stop quick!!

I’m very very happy to take him on and think they’d be mad not to run Fakir here too.....
 
I’m also of the opinion Sir Erec was extremely flattered at the weekend. No denying it was a good performance but the race fell into his lap. He certainly will not get his own way in this and I couldn’t trust his jumping when under pressure over a quicker pace. I like Pic D’ohry And Fakir D’oudaries And I personally feel it would be a mistake not to run Fakir in this
 
There is no doubt Sir erec got a soft lead in the best trial for the triumph.

But I'd argue of all the horses in the field, he is the one most equipped to handle a stronger gallop, and his jumps when he was quickening were his best, added to the fact they only jump two fence's in the last mile in the triumph anyway,

the supposed likely weakness of him jumping in a big field and at pace theories are simply nonsense, and apply to most of the other runners.

Sir Erec will be on the bridle approaching the last, and more than likely win going away after the last.
In Ireland at the weekend his cruising speed looked quicker than the others finishing speed. He was only just getting going. Anyone who cannot see that is not looking properly.

Obviously. like all horses he could make a big mistake with his jumping at some point, which could cost him. But that applies to all of them.
 
Ruby bound to be pissed off not getting out for a run think Sir Erec will be pestered in the triumph deserved favourite but not bomb proof
 
Do you think TTT’s run at the DRF was a bad run or have we seen his limitations after his previous good run against Sir Erec?? I don’t know much about TTT and have him in an ante post Lucky 31 I’m pondering over
 
Decent match up at the weekend. Coeur sublime given 140. So they'll likely go for the musselburgh trial with him where he'll meet quel destin. Will give us a look into what the Irish form looks like.

Not sure tbh after Coeur sublime would very likely have won the trial where he fell. And it being banded around the Irish are far better etc...

Luckily got my 40/1 out. Ummed and ahhed but did it. 4.15 x my stake. Reinvested half the profit at 10/1 for supreme nrnb. If he ends up here I can cope. Can always back him on the day if I need to.

where is the 140 rating from for Couer sublime ?
 
just seen racing post have it as 140.
ATR have it as 132
HRIH has it as 132
can't see it in BHR site
