To be fair they do like giving Gordon a head start...:highly_amused:

I think they'll know if she is good enough by then and the owners seem up for the challenge. For me, if she didn't line up in the Dublin race i'd actually have doubts she'd be running at 3:30 on that Tuesday

Yeah that's probably fair. I think we might have over-thought the trainers championship though... archie put up a link to Kevin Blake's blog and it's all over already:devilish:

Samcro declared for tomorrow. At the weights, Sharjah could give him a race.

Interesting that despite WPM's words about Laurina it is the Mares where the money is coming for her. Almost double matched on her since last Friday, as opposed to hardly anything for this race!

It's only fair to note that there has been a fair bit (nearly £1k) of money since yesterday for Laurina now in this race.

And is blue across the board on oddschecker!

Interesting that she will start off at Ascot.

Possibly, planning to take on Samcro with Sharjah (tomorrow) and Melon in future races. Whilst avoiding Samcro until March?

I think they were going 1/3 and 11/4 before declarations.

If The Cap Fits is now joint fav for the Greatwood after declarations at 10/1.

Will need to win really to get involved in the CH but I'm hoping for a big run!

Going to see Samcro in person tomorrow. Track only 45mins away. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Given sharjah was 13 lengths back in receipt of 1lb at the Dublin Festival I don’t see any problems being given out

Maybe if some money comes for Bedrock the forecast is worth it but I doubt it

Do they reconsider going Chasing with Samcro after that??

Would be interesting if they do, I have an RSA and JLT bet just in case but cashed out the rest

Couldn't agree more, got to be RSA route for me - although I wouldn't want this as i'm heavily invested in Santini :|

I REALLY hope they do. They have to don't they?!

Fitness aside today - he's not a champion hurdler. Jumps his hurdles like a chaser.

Fences 2m4 - 3 miles please

How stubborn/brave is Gordon gonna be

Jumped like he had been schooled over fences this morning!

That aside I, personally, feel he and Sharjah did not help each other at all. Blackmore sat and waited, and benefitted from that. No turn of foot like last season, a possible lack of fitness/work. I would suspect we will see a different Samcro next time out, whether over hurdles or fences.
