Triumph Hurdle 2019

I've already backed Lethal Steps. Relying on a bit of Elliott magic and have read he may prefer a flatter track but will watch and see.

Farid a bigger winner though.

I'm sticking with Couer sublime !, G.E said although chief justice won the other day , he expected C.S,
to be the one come Triumph hurdle day, . .

Chief justice is about 15 lengths short of winning the triumph and he gave him 7 pounds last time. They'll both need to improve plenty.

Coer sublime has ran 2 cracking races for a fred winter.

I’m not giving up hope on him either yet. He’s still only seen a race track 3 times so plenty more improvement to come. Some of Gordon’s previous horses that have run well in the Triumph didn’t go through the season unbeaten but gradually peaked for March.

I’d be very surprised if he’s not good enough to line up in the Triumph.

Cant help think GE has something better than these 2. Surely Chief Justice Cheltenham jaunt was a scouting mission?

Gordon's not one for just lining up to make the numbers. He's a long way short. If he is a potential triumph winner and hes not shown it yet he must have a ton under his sleeve. Because 1 more run and he's an Irish mark of 130- 133 for this.

Due to Coeur Sublimes inexperience, it would be mad not to keep giving him a chance in the better races. I’m sure people would have made similar comments about Mega Fortune during his juvenile season but he peaked when it mattered.

He slowed the horse down and took an extra stride into virtually every hurdle

I wonder if they will continue with the experiment. It seems like madness given they could potentially have access to Davy Russell or Jack Kennedy.

I can't imagine they'd want to burn their bridges with him.

Davy won't last forever, and he's obviously very talented. From Triumph winners through to Gold Cup winners, Cooper clearly can win big, big races.

Within a few years he could easily have bounced back and be right back near the top of the tree.

He's frustrated me plenty too but I can see why they're keeping him involved at least.

I somehow had the idea that Fret Destruval was trained by Henderson. Shock horror its King. Money firmly staying in the pocket.

You'll see if that was a wise decision later.
Hendo has adjali and fusil raffles for Munir / souede.

Farid is getting smashed up already today.

I hope he wins for you today. I Never go near any of his novices at the festival. Shocking record.

Thanks. That's fair enough.
I'm not worried about the other horses. But giving 7 pounds to protektorat on gd ground. He'll have to be very good.

Anyone got any thoughts on FRUCTINE?

Looked a machine on debut but maybe one with a few issues. Like the breeding though and has a entry on Wednesday.
